Firstly, thanks to all for such warm welcomes back - I've missed y'all too!
Second, hello to all the new folks I haven't met yet, so glad to meet you!
Lastly... ONE MONTH TO GO! This is so exciting!
Since I have missed so much of the conversations here, thought I'd ask what you're most anticipating seeing in Season 6? For me, I think it's going to be seeing how the Tower of Joy scene plays out ... finally!

The only character that truly matters, the first of her name Daenerary Targaryen.
Just kidding (not really) but I'm really looking forward to Bran, I missed him last season, and all that we'll learn from him. Including ToJ.

If speculation is right, it looks like we're going to see a LOT of things through Bran's visions. I'm really happy they seem to be going with a method where he's actually there *in* the moment so-to-speak rather than just laying in a cave up north... this way Bran gets to participate and we get to see so much more of him again. Nicely done creativity on that, should be great.

The North and Braavos. I feel like Arya's storyline last season got a much more lukewarm reception than expected (due to pacing), but it was one of my favourites of the season, which was interestingly a direct contrast to my opinion of it in the books. I hated all the Braavosi chapters

So glad to have you back, Envie! For me, it's the Riverlands stuff, I really love Jaime's AFfC arc, so I'm looking forward to have at least some parts of it adapted for television. Also, I still cling to the hope that we might, finally, get LSH this year. Probably not, but ... who knows.

-Cersei fucking shit up -Bran -Ian Mcshane Ah yes, Cersei! Do you think she will go completely batshit crazy and burn King's Landing down? Would be a nice call-back to crazy King Arys! Ian McShane is going to be great, but I'm trying not to get too excited since his story arc is limited and short. The North and Braavos. I feel like Arya's storyline last season got a much more lukewarm reception than expected (due to pacing), but it was one of my favourites of the season, which was interestingly a direct contrast to my opinion of it in the books. I hated all the Braavosi chapters Yes, it's going to be interesting to see how Arya gets through the mess in Braavos. As my all-time favorite character, I too disliked a lot of the Braavos stuff from the books and kept hoping she'd at least run into someone worth being around over there or leave and come back. I'm wondering if she will by the end of the season. The North and Snowbowl are of course going to be EPIC and probably along the same lines of spectacular as Hardhome was but I'm trying to keep my hype down to a simmer with that because I fear it won't be until the end of the season ... which means it will all be over with! So glad to have you back, Envie! For me, it's the Riverlands stuff, I really love Jaime's AFfC arc, so I'm looking forward to have at least some parts of it adapted for television. So many debates I've read (and a lot of mean things) about that topic while existing in purgatory reddit land ... ugh. People are so mean! Jaime going to the Riverlands finally will hopefully redeem his (and Brienne's) pitifully underused and under appreciated wonderfulness last season!

Agreed, I think it not only allows us to see the action from his perspective but it's also more natural for him to narrate (if needed) what we are seeing. Which I think will be important, especially for those who haven't read the books and don't know the details of the storylines.

Snowbowl and Jon and Sansa's reunion - This is fucking obvious Cersei getting revenge against the Faith - Her saying "I choose violence" got me hyped for KL Bran - I almost had the urge to fast forward through his scenes in the past, but I'm really excited for the ToJ, Winterfell flashbacks, etc. Ian McShane - We need that Broken Men Speech Euron Greyjoy - I'm curious how they'll work his character into the show this late in the game. Braavos - I actually liked Arya's storyline last season, even though it had a slower pace, but I'm interested to see how she separates from the Faceless Men and escapes back to Westeros. Dany - I think this could potentially be her strongest season.

Everything. I even look forward to Dany's storyline now that Westeros is involved via Greyjoys and Varys.
But if I had to do a top 5....
1) King's Landing - Cersei striking back and the High Sparrow becoming ambitious in his plans. 2) The North - Rise of Sansa, secret gatherings, UnJon, Melisandre's revelations, Snowbowl, Osha. 3) Beyond the Wall - Max von Sydow, world building, three-eyed raven vs. nightsking. 4) The Riverlands - Catching up with the Freys, Tullys, and outlaws of the area. Broken men speech. 5) Iron Islands - Kingsmoot, Yara going east, the introduction of (hopefully) a great human antagonist.

Everything involving Sansa and Cersei. I would add Jaime but after S4 and S5... eh... I'll wait and see.
