Well, I think this was it folks. That final scene felt very much like a goodbye. If it is, I have to say, I'm satisfied. The last scene hit me right in the feels. Justin Theroux was excellent again, and they squeezed the Pixies song in one more time. Loved it. Need time to think about this one a bit more, but that was absolutely one of my favorite single seasons of a tv show I've ever watched. Brilliant stuff.

Yeah the way Nora said "You're home" made it seem like it was really the end. Still, I think it was one of the strongest seasons on TV for the Fall and I felt that nearly every episode was compelling that I just kept looking more forward to the next one. I was always drawn in, but it could also be the way they structured the season focusing on a few characters per episode and it worked really well. I mean the show itself did have somewhat of a LOST vibe because it's one of the same writers, but I thought they put a lot of originality into the characters so I really enjoyed the writing. Also the acting from Carrie Coon, Ann Dowd, Justin Theroux, and the other actors was amazing.

I just finished it. That was just amazing. Do you think he really came back the last time? There are logistical issues if the end part was his Heaven, but you could overlook them.
I certainly don't want that to be the end, since it wrapped up his story this season but not the overarching story of the show as a whole. But I can live with it and binge-watch it every few years like Twin Peaks, if I must.

I loved season 1, but 2 might have been even better. Nora (played by Carrie Coon) is one of my favorite characters on tv in recent years.

I was hoping we would, but it sucks that it will be the final season. So I'm guessing it will come back in the Fall and then Westworld could take the Summer spot.

I finally caught up with season 2 and I thought it was much stronger than season 1. Regina King was absolutely fabulous in this and I hope Emmys pay attention. Justin T did some terrific acting singing that Simon and Garfunkel song. It will be real interesting that Kevin has basically been there and back again, what will his post-death life look like. I am glad they are getting a season 3 to wrap this up.

I'm watching the pilot but that show may be too depressing and nihilistic for me - dude with all the dog death, choking a guy who is jerking off, some weirdos stalking Liv Tyler...it's all too joyless.

There wasn't really anywhere else for her character to go, so that makes sense. Interesting to see such a huge change in location, that was where Scott Glenn's character was right?

Yes, he was in Australia. I'm glad we're going to get more of Kevins's dad. They left a lot of questions from the first season with him. I wonder if it will be split between Jarden and Australia? Or will the Murphy's follow the Garvey's there? Just glad we're getting one more season anyway.
