I'm surprised it's getting poor reviews now when it got a lot of great ones at TIFF's Midnight Madness when it premiered two years ago. Still seeing it tomorrow.

Update: I liked The Green Inferno, the only thing I didn't care for was the scene after the credits. I should've walked out quicker.

It's like they wanted to set it up for a sequel, but we know that will never happen, so it felt pointless and took away from how the film actually ended.

This also looks surprisingly good, but it must have been a limited release in the U.S.

I hate modern horror, since you can 90% of the time predict how the film is gonna pan out. But old Horror? Fucking classic stuff.
Anyone ever see The Beast Must Die? Low budget goofy horrors are the best.

Have we talked about this? I love this. The scene cut before Eds classic "theres a girl in the garden" line. Best jump scare of all time.

Krampus had some screenings this week and it's very good, apparently. Very funny but scary too, it's from the same guy who did Trick'r'Treat and it does to Christmas the same thing, giving it a proper villain. But it's actually based on this mythical creature that accompanies Santa/is the anti-Santa so it's very cool I just love the films CCon display:
