I see absolutely nothing interesting about Roose Bolton. What's strange is I didn't like Roose in the books, but I think the way Michael McElhatton plays him is what makes him a more likeable character. Yeah the Boltons are fucked up, but they are still interesting to watch on screen because you get to see their perspective on everything else instead of only appearing from the protagonist's POV. In the books , to me, seems that Roose is a 'minior' major (so to speak) keep expecting him to disappear at some time. On the show he sort of appears almost magically in season 2, stays in the background and by season 4 and 5 now seems a major character. I did not expect this exactly the way it's developed , at least if Stannis is really removed as a major character in the story.

I don't like the way Boltons appear. Ramsay: 6 episodes. Roose: 4 episodes.
I don't know, maybe McElhatton was busy last summer, but since this propably is the downfall season of House Bolton (SNOWBOWL), I'd like to see Roose as much as possible (even though I don't think this is his last season).

I've seen some people think that Roose didn't allow Ramsay's attack, but I don't think that's the case... The Bastard seemed to have all of their men with him. Shows how reckless Rams is.

Roose already trusted Ramsay with his 20 men to attack Stannis's camp so I'm pretty sure he was confident that Ramsay could handle the BoI or maybe he thought that it doesn't matter since Walda is already pregnant with his heir. Ramsay will obviously send his hounds on a hunt, but I'm more curious to see Roose's reaction to Sansa and Theon's escape.

I'd love if this scenario happened: Servant: M'lord, I'm so sorry, your son, he's dead... Roose: K.

I think that might be something they could put into next season along with A peaceful land, a quiet people because it's still important to the relationship between Roose and Ramsay. If this is the season they both go down, they should at least be featured more than last season.

I think Roose intentionally brought up Walda's pregnancy to make Ramsey feel insecure so he could build him back up with that rapey "you're my son" speech. I think Roose is puppet-steering everything Ramsey is doing right now, and he knows full well his other heir will never see adulthood with Ramsey around. Really curious how Ramsey will take losing Miranda, Theon, and Sansa all at once, and how Roose will control his fury.

I hope the set up for peaceful land will be something like this: Ramsay finds about his bride and Reek escaping, along with death of Myranda. He starts to yell and leaves immediately to hunt. Ramsay propably kills few peasants because he thinks they're covering for Sansa. When he comes back he says he will flay everyone who has seen Sansa or something like that. Roose says "People fear you" and y'all know how it continues. Then later Ramsay acts stubborn again and Roose tells him that "Don't make me rue the day I raped your mother." And finally Bolt-On Roose kills Ramsay somewhere along the season. EDIT: Btw, back in 5x03 when Roose said "Stop eating and listen", I got chills on my spine.

I think the only one missing in the filming news in the main cast is Iain Glen. Everyone else has been either spotted in Belfast or known to be already filming their scenes. And we know Spain is also being used for the Dothraki Sea and they film there next month so I'm wondering if all of his scenes will be outside. As for Daario, the Dothraki might as well kill him in the first half of the season. Has anyone seen Mike McHat in Belfast lately?

She's starting to look like S1 Arya again, only chubbier.

it would be cool if arya or jaquen comes to oldtown with sam if they stop off in braavos. where would they logically pick up sams story anyway? just arriving in oldtown would be best but it'd be great to make that connection with the faceless men unless thats not an important plot in the show.. Weird that arya is wearing a braavosi man's outift. looks like shes ditched the cat of the canals persona. i think she will join a mummers group as part of her training this season after she is blind beth for a couple of epsiodes. but not sure when...by episode seven she may be somewhere else...kind've convenient that oldtown and braavos will be filmed so close together. This would be a nice convenient way to tie together the two storylines - I like it! It would condense some things we know from the books and put everyone on a converging path in the same general vicinity. Even if they don't meet beforehand, having Arya go to Oldtown with Jaqen would align things nicely with Sam's story. Maybe this is why they are filming everything in the same general area and using Girona for both Braavos and Oldtown in season 6? I think Roose intentionally brought up Walda's pregnancy to make Ramsey feel insecure so he could build him back up with that rapey "you're my son" speech. I think Roose is puppet-steering everything Ramsey is doing right now, and he knows full well his other heir will never see adulthood with Ramsey around. Really curious how Ramsey will take losing Miranda, Theon, and Sansa all at once, and how Roose will control his fury. It was definitely meant to be intentional on the show. Roose was reminding Ramsay that his legitimacy and inheritance is riding on a thin line. Ramsay's biggest motivator is to "prove himself" to Dad, but his psychopathic tendencies keep getting in the way. Roose has several times given warning to Ramsay and even though it was subtle, I think most viewers picked up on that tension fairly well - and it was well done. Roose can easily dispose of Ramsay if he gets out of control. We were left with Ramsay going apeshit (Pink Letter?) in the books so maybe on the show he will go apeshit in a different way and that's the final straw for Roose. I certainly hope so. I'd enjoy seeing Roose kill Ramsay.

Sure. We'll get fake descriptions, fake scripts, episode summaries etc. But TristanSnow was right about a bunch of things. Ah. My mistake. I remembered him being that one guy who told fake spoilers. It was Patchface or something, that one? Hopefully. Last September some Stannis-named Facebook account posted scripts for episodes 1 and 2. Turned out to be true. Though we found out about them only in February.

Has anyone seen Mike McHat in Belfast lately? Not that I know of but I think he might live there, so it's not quite as big a deal for locals seeing him as it is with other cast members. But TristanSnow was right about a bunch of things. He was. Though a lot of us scrutinized what he had to say heavily, myself included, he did prove to be entirely correct. All of his info was about the Dubrovnik shoot though, so with less shooting there this year I don't know how many scoops he'll have in the end. It is entirely probable though that we get a Spanish equivalent to him this year. We'll see.
