Is that show photographer Helen Sloan there in the back? Looks like it. Cogman's also there and Chris Newman (whose beard is HUGE now btw).

Anyhow...are we to presume Arya's still blind here? We don't get a good glimpse at her eyes in these photos but I don't think her blindness will last until 607 really. I don't think she'll stay blind long either, maybe one episode at most? If this water scene is 6x07 she must be onto her next adventure after that!

Yeah, I think her Blind Beth outfit will be much tattier than this. This is her in bravo or Water Dancer mode really. And we've still got her acting bit to expect, I think, with that "Actress" casting call from the first set WOTW posted.

Can't see them stretching the blindness issue for more than 1 or 2 episodes. Although having her go on a blind mission might be interesting to see. I wonder who will go to Braavos this season. Last year Mace and Meryn acted as connectors to the Westeros story. I doubt Sam goes there; there is little point without Dareon. Khal Ned. But seriously, I think we need to get Jaqen into Oldtown. That alchemist guy from AFfC isn't there to search info about snarks.

And it could be they have Sam dock at Braavos briefly just so Jaqen can hope aboard the ship there. But with Sam also visiting home this season maybe there's not time for that? We'll see.

Cogman seems to have become a regular on-set producer these days I think he has been delegated the authority for some while now. I suppose D&D where with another unit or just working on production that day.

In s3 and s4 when D and D were directing this wasn't possible but now they can resume that role again.

Maybe in show Randyll is military comma der at Oldtown in case Balon attacks? He could take his family with him.

Unrelated to the topic at hand, but the Northern Lords (at least the Umber-sounding one) start shooting today - August 17th. Same goes for the servant "numb to the horror he serves".

I think the submissive maester is actually in the Northern storyline. The show's version of Manderly's one, so I guess, our Umber character's in the show. I dunno about the recruit.

Glad we're finally getting some filming pictures, hopefully there's plenty more to come.
I think it's pretty interesting that they're already done with the Winterfell exteriors but it may not mean anything. They could also jut be taking it down for now and build it again later since they usually film in NI in the last couple months.

They could always build again later since they usually film in NI in the last couple months. Or they could even be taking down components of the WF walls set to set up somewhere else. It's hard to say.

I like the idea of her diving for Needle. Especially if she's getting ready to head back to Westeros at this point.

Green recruit could just be someone from the Night's Watch. Nowhere else would really have "recruits"

When you in the ocean and your foot feels something slimy: And when you find out it was just a shark, not something gross like a jellyfish.
