X2 is by far my favorite. I only really enjoyed X1 and 2, X3 was a mess and the reboots are kind of awful despite having a good cast. They're are not awful in any way. Especially DoFP. It's an excellent film. Anytime a comic book movie can crack 90% on Rotten Tomatoes that should tell you something. Yeah, I cannot get into the new ones. I thought I liked First Class the first time I saw it, then I watched it again and completely hated it. I was actually looking forward to DofP, but then they cut Rogue, who I was most excited to see. And I hated their clusterfuck of a Quicksilver. Not for me, I guess. But I do like that it retconned X3. It gets props there.

My only real gripe with Singer's X-Men, wasn't crazy about how Cyclops was portrayed, and Halle Berry was not great as Storm, but Rogue was horrible. You are literally the first person I've seen say they didn't like Quicksilver. I thought he was one of the best parts tbh. The X-Men movies are pretty heavy most of the time, I thought he was a lot of fun. I'd put the kitchen scene up there with Nightcrawler at the Whitehouse as one of the best in any of the X movies.

I prefer MCU's Quicksilver by a long shot. DofP had a terrible wig and seemed more like The Flash. I wasn't feeling the look at all. Nightcrawler at the Whitehouse was a thousand times better for me.

I can't speak to AoU Quicksilver as I've not seen it yet, but I've heard both their version of him and the movie itself is pretty mediocre.

The X-Men movies are pretty heavy most of the time, I thought he was a lot of fun. I'd put the kitchen scene up there with Nightcrawler at the Whitehouse as one of the best in any of the X movies. When I think about the way the films have treated Rogue I get so angry. She is my favourite X-men and the films ruined her. In the first one she was a damsel in distress, she was ok in X2, she had some nice moments (stopping Pyro and piloting the X-jet) even though she wasn't still an X-Men due to her age (which I could understand). I was so excited for X-Men 3, thinking I'd finally see Rogue kick some ass and use her powers to help the team. And I was hoping to see if they would finally bother giving her a personality, because let's be honest, Rogue film is as bland as someone can be. Where is the sassy southern belle she was supposed to be? And what did we got instead? Rogue abandoning her friends in their darkest hour to go take the cure because she is afraid Bobby will leave her for Kitty. WTF? I know Rogue is the perfect candidate to add some complexity to the cure storyline, showing that being a mutant is not cool for everybody and in some cases the mutation can actually be a problem, specially when it can't be controlled, but the way they did it was all wrong. The cure storyline deserved its own movie, Rogue would never leave the team when they need her, and she sure as hell would feel conflicted about taking the cure because, even though her powers prevent her from touching others, they are also useful and can be used to help save people. I'm also pissed they used Bobby as her main romantic interest because I really like her with Gambit, but that is just a minor complaint. For Rogue to work with Gambit first she would need to have some personality. Then came DOFP and I was all excited because it looked like Rogue was going to be a key part of the plot and she would finally get a chance to shine. But then JLaw won an Oscar and the writers decided to make the movie all about her, they came up with some bullshit about Mystique's DNA being the reason the Sentinels can adapt to different mutant powers (which is not Mystique's power) and by the end, they had cut so much of Rogue's material, they didn't even bother including her except for a 3 seconds cameo. And the Rogue cut of the film doesn't help. It does nothing for Rogue. Most fans grudge seems to be that Rogue doesn't have Miss Marvel's powers (flight, super-strength and invulnerability), but that's kind of irrelevant when the screenwriters have screwed the character so much (and besides FOX doesn't have the rights to Miss Marvel). So all things considered, the best thing that could happen to Rogue is to be rebooted with a screenwriter that gives two shits about the character. I liked Quicksilver in DOFP but if we're being honest, he was overpowered as hell. As plenty of people have pointed out, if they had such a powerful mutant, why didn't they take him to Paris? he could have entered the embassy, stopped Mystique and carry her to where Xavier and Magneto were in 5 seconds. AOU's Quicksilver wasn't as fast, and IMO he is a good version of the character. And although Age of Ultron is not as good as the first Avengers movie, is still good.

Channing Tatum has closed his deal with FOX and will be Gambit. Hopefully this one be another case of fans hating a casting choice until they actually see the movie. Here is a fan-art of Tatum as Gambit. Doesn't look too bad, let's hope the actual look works And here are a few pics of the Deadpool movie. This one can be hilarious if they do it right and don't take it seriously. Also please break the fourth wall.

Holy shit, that looks badass! Still not crazy about the look of Apocalypse, but almost everyone else looks great. Especially Archangel, Storm, & Jubilee.

This looks incredible. Everyone is fangirling over the MCU, but IMO this is so much better.

I love DOFP but it having the most votes here is really not something that I can accept.
