Yeet.
The High Sparrow is apparently convincingTommen that Cersei deserves to die. This could get interesting... Thoughts?

Every word is calculated. How does everyone think Jaime will factor into the war against the Faith. I'd kind of prefer he stay out of it completely, but I'm unsure of what he'll actually do. Him and Cersei are apparently teaming up, but we know he ends of freeing Margaery, which is literally the exact opposite of what Cersei wants. I think he'll maybe try intimidating Lancel. I can't imagine that Jaime won't find out about CerseixLancel. It kind of crushes him in the books, so maybe someone will tell him about it, and he'll side with the Tyrells to spite his sister.

I think Cersei will probably have a story ready for him in regards to Lancel. And I think that Jaime rescuing Marge will be part of Cersei's plan. I see Cersei playing nice with the Tyrells out of desperation for a lot of the season in order to weaken the faith, she'll probably turn on them or shove them aside at the end. I don't know, I don't really see a dramatic Jaime/Cersei breakup happening on the show next season.

I have this little theory that Tomme may kill himself season seven, and maybe that's due to Margaery's death at the hands of Cersei back in the Red Keep. It's all too much for the poor kid...

It goes with the book too, as that's how Cersei's acting in the ADWD epilogue. i'm not sure about Tommen dying in season 6 tbh. especially we now know that Dany will still be in Mereen in episode 10 and also especially if Kevan and Pycelle die in episode 10.

I missed that bit from the EW interviews, I should go read up on that. Interesting. It makes sense for Cersei to pretend as much as possible, the same as Margaery. They have to calculate their moves carefully. I also agree if anything does happen (drastic) it won't be until the end of the season in regards to King's Landing or Tommen.

I'm still confused as to how they're incorporating Dorne . Obviously all the characters there are back this season but they haven't bothered to show one single frame of any of the material. I only mention this in the King's Landing thread because there's an assumption that because we know Varys is leaving Meereen mid-season, that he'll end up back in KL to do the ADWD epilogue deeds.
But we have an assumption that he's probably involved with the Dornish plot (otherwise it's hard to see a link to all those characters returning or why they even bothered to include Dorne seeing as Aegon is cut). If Varys shows up in Dorne to reveal an alliance with Doran as many suspect, this can't really allow him to show up in KL as well this season which makes me wonder how they'll follow through on the Pycelle/Kevan purge.
I don't believe Tommen will be offed this season, that just seems too soon.

I think Varys leaves Mereen say 6x05, speaks to Doran and aligns him with Dany in 6x07 or 6x08, then does the epilogue in 6x10. Varys is kind of the scout on Dany's team, going beforehand to make sure everything's good to go. By making alliances and undermining his enemies, he's helping her a lot. And yes, I think Tommen will definitely survive the season. I'm figuring, depending on how season six goes, he kills himself halfway through season seven.

Yeah, Varys will be paving the way to Dany's invasion, sowing chaos and making alliances for her. So, at the start of Season 7, we'll see a consolided Targaryen-Tyrell-Martell (and maybe the Ironborn faction led by Yara and Theon) alliance fighting against whoever holds King's Landing. And I'm sure Euron will be another foe of at some point. How he fits into this scenario, remains to be seen.

In regards to Jaime, i can see him trying to organise the KG and ensure that Tommen is safe going to and from the Sept. Other than that i don't see him having much of an effect on what decisions are made in KL. That's mostly going to be up to Margery, Olenna, HS and Cersei.
We know that he definitely has one impact, gathering the Tyrell army to rescue Margery from the Sept. But i think he is doing that mostly for Tommen. After just losing Myrcella, it will crush him pretty bad to lose another child, he'd want to make him happy. A confrontation between Lancel and Jaime (maybe even HS) will reveal Cersei's affair, combined with him going to rescue Margery and not fighting for Cersei will drive a wedge between them.

Cersei's definitely gonna be the eye of the storm whatever happens.
But the Jaime thing is a difficult one. He seems devoted to Cersei, but then helps her enemies. Something happens. He comes back, is all about helping Cersei, but then finds out about the affair with Lancel, making him side with Margaery? I think he just abandons Cersei and rescues Margaery because Tommen asks him, and he's trying to be a nice guy or something.
Wonder how Jaime's gonna feel about his new brother in the KG...

TheMadQueen, I merged your KL thread with the old one. So we don't have duplicates.

I can't see Jaime allowing anyone but himself to fight for Cersei's honor if he can, so is her trial after he leaves for the Riverlands? That's pretty late in the season. Maybe she won't LET him defend her because he's such a bad fighter now.

Well obviously, but I think Jaime will be pretty distrustful of Ser Robert altogether. I hope we get some scenes with wildfire this year. Cersei could burn the Tower after Kevan's death perhaps.

REVISED PREDICTIONS: after the slew of info the last couple days, I have some revised predictions to make. WALL OF TEXT COMING.
I think we'll get a scene between Kevan, Olenna, and Pycelle to open up the KL storyline. They'll have their own little small council, where they'll discuss the goings on of KL. Qyburn will hear word of a Dornish ship in Blackwater Bay, he'll tell Cersei, who hurries on down to the harbor. He comes out with a casket, and she gets sad.
Tommen wants the funeral at the Sept of Baelor, even though Cersei doesn't want to go back there. Cersei calls the body back to the Red Keep, where she burns her daughter on a pyre with wildfire in front of all the court, making everyone uncomfortable.
Cersei tries to get Jaime in on her schemes, and after seeing the psycho she's become and the freaks she's consorting with, he will politely decline. Instead, he'll try to bond with Tommen, who begs him to rescue Margaery.
Jaime and Mace go to the Sept of Baelor, and the High Sparrow releases her, on the condition she return for her trial. Loras has to stay in jail because he has yet to confess or do any penance. They promise to return her for trial, and go back to the Red Keep, with Tommen and Margaery seemingly embracing the Faith of the Seven.
Cersei is a lil bit pissed that Jaime betrayed her and helped Margaery, but she tries to hide it. She tells him to the lead the army in the Riverlands and even gets a little sexy with him, but he says something that pisses her off and she freaks out and throws him out. Jaime leaves to the RL pretty quickly afterwards.
Days before Cersei's trial, Varys returns and murders Kevan and Pycelle. Cersei freaks out, not out of grief, but fear that it was Margaery or Tyrion. Still, she goes for her trial, and Ser Robert wins it for her. Free of all charges, she sets sights on the Tyrells.
Before Cersei can do anything, though, Loras dies in prison from sickness, and Margaery is therefore let off the hook because her crimes were based on his. The Tyrells are pissed. Cersei doesn't seem all that broken up about it. With both queens back in the Red Keep, there are lots of incidents of spying and rumors. One of Cersei's handmaidens are spies for Margaery, so Cersei has her tortured to death by Qyburn.
From there... I don't know. THANKS FOR HUMORING ME. THIS IS WHY I SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED ON THE INTERNET.
