What do you guys think will happen to the Tyrells, especially Margaery and Loras? I guess whatever happens to them in TWOW. It's quite possible that both of them die. Why would the faith choose Lancel as their champion when the Mountain has a clear advantage over him? Also since Lancel is Kevan's son, wouldn't they want to keep him alive? Who else could they choose? It's not going to be the Hound (sorry Cleganebowl enthusiasts) and Lancel is the only named character other than the HS who has any association with the Faith. In any case, a trials by combat are decided by the gods (well, they people of Westeros think so at least) so I don't think the physical disadvantages would put them off selecting Lancel. They are driven by faith, and will fully believe that if Cersei is guilty, Lancel would prevail regardless. Plus I think they'll select him as a sort of last penance for his part in Cersei's sins and name him as their champion before Cersei names Gregor as hers.

They might meet again eventually but not for Cersei's trial.

They might meet again eventually but not for Cersei's trial. They WILL meet again. And even if it's not in Cersei's trial, it's still CLEGANEBOWL.

They might meet again eventually but not for Cersei's trial. Don't do this to these people, their CB hype is probably the most joyful thing this fandom has ever seen

I know that Dany's "visions" in show HOTU were different from the ones in the books, and I realize this could be another 'forgotten' plot in the show, but I'm thinking of when Dany saw herself in the KL throne room, with everything deserted and cold/snowy, and she went up and was about to touch the iron throne when she heart her dragons screeching and turned away. So, could that mean that KL wouldn't burn but would get "iced out" ( ) - but seriously, WWs getting that far south before they were defeated like they had thousands of years ago.

I could see Cersei trying to burn KL or anything, really. She talks about all this burning, eventually she has to do something about it.
I'd hate for her and Jaime to die together though. Too predictable.

And we should see The Throne Room again since King's Landing will probably be mostly indoor scenes and it was missing from Season 5.

It will be good to get back to some King's Landing / Iron Throne politics at least for the first few episodes. As much as I enjoyed all the other story locations so much more in season 5, I'm ready to see some of the wrap-up to the trials and the Faith and all of that stuff before the poo hits the fan everywhere else with Winter on it's way from one direction and hopefully Team Dragon from another direction. I'd say fAegon on the way too, but they decided to cut him out entirely. The trials and possibly Kevan/Pycelle murders are really the last bits of book knowledge we have to speculate about with any certainty!

What do you guys think will happen with everyone's favorite Queen Mother in season 6?
We know she'll go to trial, we know Jaime will get Margaery out of jail, and we know she has a personal wrecking ball in the form of UnGregor.
Speculate away!
I personally believe she will win her trial, blame Jaime for Myrcella's death (driving him to side with the Tyrells and save Margaery), and then unleash bloody vengeance on the Sparrows.

First of all, welcome I agree with your speculation, I think Jaime helping Margaery or going against Cersei in any way that at the same time helps Tyrells will be what causes her to send him away to Riverlands. I fear for shame nun when Cersei goes on revenge spree

Yeah I agree. I think she'll put a ton of guilt on Jaime for Myrcella's death, which will create even more tension between them. I'm sure once Jaime hears again that Cersei's threat of burning their cities to the ground is her becoming insane, their relationship will continue to deteriorate. Once Jaime goes to the Riverlands, I don't see him coming back to KL until Cersei attempts to burn the city, but him helping Margaery will most likely be the last thing that drives her to send him away. We already know that Tommen is going to be heavily influenced by Margaery so I could see Cersei going to him for comfort in the beginning of S6 like we saw in the year ender, but once Margaery becomes a devout member of the faith, Tommen will probably not take Cersei's side of creating war with the Faith. Even the conversation they had last season where Cersei tells Tommen that the first causality of that war would be Margaery, that will come into play as well.

Cersei is going to go batshit and it's going to be glorious.
I agree with others, she'll blame Myrcella on Jaime and that will drive him away to the Riverlands. I hope she tries to summon him back for her trial, only for him to burn the letter like he does in the books.

Jaime also needs to react to her affair with Lancel now that she's confessed to it.

i think she's going to reach a boiling point. and when jaime abandons her, its going to boil over and she'll do something crazy. i'm not sure what that is yet though.

She's destined to burn down the Red Keep. I'm not sure when, though. I feel like Jaime will be there for that, and I'm not sure he'll get back to KL this season.

I think she'll start with the Faith, slaughtering them by the dozens then setting the Sept ablaze.
Then she'll move to regaining power, contending with the Tyrells. Her and Olenna have a big confrontation. It'll be juicy lol.

So Cersei loses it, tries to burn Kings Landing, and Margery gets out of her prison cell. At that point, I don't see how Cersei and Margery can coexist in Kings Landing. The Olenna / Kevan alliance will want to send Cersei back to Casterly Rock or to some other exile - her humiliation should put remarriage firmly off the table. But Cersei will do anything to stay near Tommen. I wonder if the Pycelle / Kevan deaths will be a Tyrell conspiracy in the show, since the more convoluted Tyrell conspiracy from the books is probably excised. Or maybe those two just get killed by the mob. I have to imagine that their deaths in the books mean that they're not going to survive much longer in the show.
And then the Dornish and Dany herself may end up saving Cersei from exile by becoming a more urgent problem than Cersei is.

I thinks she'll just be waging like a shadow war against her enemies. She'll pretend to be broken and harmless, but when no ones around she's plotting to take everybody out.
