BTW y'all, I just saw someone on ASOIAF reddit referring to Rickon's possible ascendance to power in the North in TWOW and s6 as "the Rickoning". This is great! Would love to see Shaggydog tearing out some throats in that Rickoning!

Him going wolf-hunting at the end of ACOK seems like the sort of thing that GrrM would bring back to haunt him.

What comes around goes around. Ramsay needs flayed though.

I like Kondrad's idea.

I like Kondrad's idea. I don't see either of them being flayed, simply because the people that are likely to kill them aren't quite as cruel as all that. I guess the most karmic death for Ramsay would be to be mauled by his own dogs or something like that... but really who knows. I do see both of them dying in s6 and TWOW but it's likely their deaths will be satisfying in ways we can't quite predict yet. I don't think before ASOS anyone predicted that Tywin would die on the shitter, for instance...so whatever he has up his sleeve in store for this the Boltons might not be so obvious that we can guess it based on what we think they deserve.

I always thought Stannis was going to kill Ramsay is Battle of Ice, but now I'd like if Roose'd finish him. Only satisfying Roose's death to me is WW. Is it too much of a longshot that Theon kills Rams?

Is it too much of a longshot that Theon kills Rams? In what scenario will Roose kill Ramsay? Here's one idea. WF is under siege, the rebels and/or the Valemen are winning. Roose escapes, Ramsay is captured. Ramsay could be executed, Sansa might order his castration before his execution. Beheaded by the Umber on the orders of the Starks. Roose survives a while longer before Shaggydog or Ghost tears him into bits.

Interesting and well written read (combined effort of a handful of the more intelligent reddit theorists) over on reddit if anyone's bored and wants to theorycraft about Winterfell and the true meaning of Winter is Coming ...
