A man who simply calmly says that he gives no shits about Tywin's demands or wishes to Lord Lannister's own son is simply a badass. And he's still likable... Haha I don't think we're using likable in the same context. I love to hate villains but their personality almost always betrays their likability. Show!Roose is likable because I think he's a true psychopath. Pop culture uses these terms casually but there is a difference from a sociopath. They go out of their way to play upon the emotions of their victims while in fact having none themselves. They feed off of that like a drug but remain stoic. Roose is pretty textbook case there, and they really played on that in the show quite a bit with his interaction with Catelyn moments before the Red Wedding. He was calm and collected and showed nothing other than a knowing smile. It was well done on McElhatton's part. Now his son Ramsay on the other hand is more the erratic and unpredictable sociopath of the two... he doesn't have Dad's ability to mask his emotion or be as calculated and cool. He and Joffrey are similar that way. Here's a pretty interesting article that compares the two in reference to pop culture villains and the textbook differences between a psychopath and a sociopath: psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2015/02/12/differences-between-a-psychopath-vs-sociopath/But my reasons for liking show Roose are much different than why I strongly disliked book Roose. They left out all the creepiest parts about the leeches and all that too. Plus the actor has really made him more human on the show. Oh I like Roose as a character, not as a person. The same goes with Tywin and Sandor. And Cat too.

I tagged this on the end of my previous post, but it fits better here: *Edit: PS - Both actors for Roose and Ramsay are very good looking men. That helps a ton in increasing the likability factor (for me) lol. Reading GRRM's description of both the Boltons, they were ugly men. As for all those characters you listed ... they are all in very different character categories for me and I wouldn't lump them together in a simple 'like' or 'dislike' sort of way. That's the brilliance of the complexities in the author's character writing.

True, he was 'ordinary' except for the weird eyes. That's the perfect psychopath in disguise of course. I guess anyone called "The Leech Lord" sort of automatically makes them seem repugnant to me LOL.

I didn't find either Bolton remotely likable in the books, and they were so ugly and appalling that their chapters were a bit hard to read for me. Although I admit to having a fascination with trying to figure out exactly what Ramsey had done to Theon to break him so completely. It wasn't so clear he cut off his dick in the books.
In the show, they're kinda charming for a couple psychopaths. Kinda. Off show, the actors are adorable. Actors can really make or break a character.

Looks awfully small. Crannogmen or Children of the Forest maybe?

I'd say Dothraki traveling tent. Their tents while staying in one place awhile would be larger or for the Khal and his bloodriders, etc. But just your average Dothraki, that seems like a sleeping area. Def. tribal looking.

If you enlarge the pic you can see that the tent is patched together with different types of materials and textures, but it just doesn't seem roomy enough to take a woman like a dog takes a bitch, although the Dothraki never needed privacy for that.

Here's Dothraki tents from season 1 for comparison. But of course, they could change the design/materials after 5 years

The general shape of the smaller tents in the background seem to be quite similar.

It makes the most sense that it would be Dothraki since we know from some of the set photos and actors onsite for filming that it's probably Emilia and her Dothraki crew geared up and starting out the filming lineup. Also seems Arya is busy (puffy eyes) and possibly Sansa and Theon. "Littlefinger" was also spotted on a trailer door. So it's all goin' on there but only the Dothraki would likely be in their travel mode...hauling Dany off to the Dosh Khaleen maybe?

I actually hope they don't haul her off to the Dosh Khaleen. Maybe they try to and she calls to Drogon and he gets off his sleepy butt and comes to save the day again, burning down a bunch of those tents in the process. Maybe that's what all those barrels of gasoline were for... fried horsemeat and tents!

I think she'll go back to Vaes Dothrak. They're casting a new Khal of Khals type after all. So as predictable as it might be, I think she'll go from being a prisoner to being in charge of all of the Dothraki early on in s6. Probably with Drogon's help. (I think Drogon is the Stallion Who Mounts the World btw. Or at least, I'm sure she'll say that to the Dosh Khaleen).

I was impressed with the personality that CGI Drogon conveyed with his struggling in that scene, got me a little emotional, just like when Dany chained up the dragons in 4x10. They really do a hell of a job with the dragons in this show.

Let's hope those don't prevent him from smoking a few horselords.

Who do you think will be appointed to the main cast?
Maybe Jonathan Pryce? Doran?
I hope for Urine Euron, but they've never added new characters to main cast after S2, when they had Stannis, Davos, Mel and Marg.
