What's your go to take out for a movie night, on Sunday's during GoT season, or just any night in general?

Chinese!
Although what I get is probably not very GoT-y at all. Chicken balls, chips and some curry sauce. DIVINE.

I don't have any good Chinese pick up places near me. Here in Finland, our selection is quite narrow (or at least where I live in) you can have pizza, kebab or burgers. Out of those 3, I prefer kebabs! Damn.. now I'm hungry.

Thai. Red curry or drunken noodles. And as many side orders of squid as I can get without feeling ashamed.

I have a favorite Greek restaurant nearby I can get great Souvlaki, Tiropita and Gyros. I pretend I'm feasting with fat Illyrio in that fancy box with Tyrion instead of Varys. I think the exotic foods of Essos would be more my thing than Westeros. The descriptions of exotic dishes during all that eating they did was fantastic. I'm re-reading ADWD!
But for cheap, I typically just get a frozen pizza or order one. Lame.

Greek places have mad game when it comes to squid. If you go to a Greek restaurant and the calamari doesn't have tentacles, keep walking.

I also like it in sushi for the most part though it's not my favorite sushi. Sushi is another great choice for GoT night feasting if you are fortunate enough with a good place that does carryout near you! GrubHub is awesome btw, if anyone has that service in their city. I highly recommend it (online ordering and delivery ftw!)

Chinese! Sweet n Sour chicken, or Orange chicken.
There's also a nice little BBQ restaurant near me that I love. Mmmmm pulled pork.

I have something similar called Meals on Wheels. "Meals on Wheels"? Seriously? That makes me think of my work. And no, Jack, I'm not making fun of you. Just of the title you mentioned.

Meals on Wheels here is a service where you can order food from wherever you want and they'll pick it up and deliver it to you.

There's a service like that here too, but I've never used them. I always assumed they charge too much to deliver

Nothing beats szechuan style Chinese takeout. I also love sushi, but now that it's getting hot I'm not comfortable throwing raw tuna in my hot car for the ride home. Sometimes a pizza is good if you're looking to feed more people. But the important thing is a tankard full of a Belgian-style IPA.

I was thinking the same thing about "meals on wheels" ... was he poking fun at his age or disabled? haha. As for Grubhub and other similar 3rd party delivery services - I say they are worth it when you get a full dinner you would have normally had to sit in the restaurant (and pay for tip and service) for anyways. There's a service fee and you tip the driver so it works out to be about the same, maybe a little more I guess - but so worth it to sit in front of the big screen and enjoy the show with your favorite dishes! I don't indulge in delivery very often but if you're going to do it - go big!
