What am I looking at here? Looks like deep fried corned beef? It's called pastel. That one in the picture is pepperoni actually, but there are many different fillings.

Squid come with teeming with tentacles and they cook up just as deliciously as the rest of it. Many people are averse to eating the things, so some places only serve the tube portion of the squid. I am not a fan of octopus. It lacks the brininess of squid and tastes more like land critter than seafood. Sidenote, there is a Vietnamese restaurant in town that offers the tiniest of little baby squid and cooks them whole (ink sac and guts removed). Simply awesome.

Yep, squid do have tentacles though atreyu's right, most places only cut up the body for 'calamari' style - like fried calamari that look like onion rings are just the body of the squid which is tube shaped, haha. Squid as sushi (Ika) is also just the body at least every time I've tried it. I think the only time I've seen whole squid being cooked was in Vietnamese pho soup and at a Korean BBQ...their tentacles curl up when they are grilled. I passed on that.

My bad.

Pizza or Chinese for Sunday night viewings. But if I'm picking up take out, then it's Thai (love that Green Curry with a side of pineapple fried rice) or Sushi.

If I'm in my home village, then my local Chinese as it is exquisite - honey and chilli shredded chicken with soft noodles (their noodles are delicious).
Anywhere else a fish and chip shop does it, though it is dependant on how their chips taste.
I hate pizza.
