There are a lot of people who deserve to get happiness for killing cersei, Jaime isn't one of them. But seriously I think there's a lot of foreshadowing of him dying in the books

I wish their closeness was emphasized earlier in the series. Except for the like two scenes, we never really see them together, so we just hear all about this affair that basically ruined everything, but we never see them just having a scene where they're in love and all that. they either throw a kid out a window or are fighting, and then they get separated for years. So then that way'd, it be more tragic to see what becomes of them. But either way, if they die together, it'll be kind of shakespearean in a way, or I guess Gothic. The ill-fated lovers finally die, after their love plummeted the country into war and destruction.

Well, we have to think how Jaime's death will serve the plot or his character considering GRMM don't kill them for the sake of shock factor or dramatic effects. But in the show, pff, who knows. I agreed with belle on her thoughts. Just want to see posters on west.org crying their wet dream/fanservice are not coming true (alhough MadQueen you are evil lol). Oh and i'm guessing Jaime/Brienne will only be brief for a while before they get kill off. And that apply for Bran/Meera possibly. Initially i thought Bran may survive at the end of the series, but considering his fate that ties with the WW and his power as the 3ER, he probably won't and might sacrifice himself to defeat the Night's King and maybe erase magic from the world. Let's pray that Meera of Tarth isn't here to see all this.

For me, i want both Jon and Dany to die. One, their death makes sense to me in terms of plot. But two, mostly just want to see Dany and Jon's fans crying and bitching that none of them get to sit on the Iron Throne lol

Hey, to be fair, i realized i'm being too hypocritical on you. I'm the biggest hateful monster than you lol. You won't know how much i loathe a certain character to an extend. True for Cersei. Her death obviously makes sense. But for Jaime, i'm pondering how his death is going to serve.

Well, we have to think how Jaime's death will serve the plot or his character considering GRMM don't kill them for the sake of shock factor or dramatic effects. But in the show, pff, who knows. Well i don't think cersei is going to die till near the end in both books and show. so her death can't exactly have this huge affect on the story like ned's did for example. but we both still agree that she's going to die right? i don't like show jaime but i do like book jaime, and i think book jaime is a tragic character. at the moment he's trying to be this idealized version of arthur dayne and tywin 2.0 at the same time. he's trying to be all ~realpolitik~ with threatening to trebuchet edmure's baby and runs after brienne to save sansa at the same time. and i just don't him trying to both things ending that well for him. and its especially hard for me to imagine how standing there and strangling cersei and literally watching and feeling her die in his arms is supposed to be this positive and bright moment for him. killing cersei in such an intimate and cruel manner is not just about saving the day. its going to be much more personal. so i do think jaime's death will serve a purpose, it will be a final reminder of tywin's legacy turning into dust and how much his parenting fucking up his children for life. tywin always wanted jaime to be twyin 2.0 but not by going rains of castamere 2.0 on cersei. now mind you, i'm making these predictions based on the books and not show. show jaime isn't anywhere near as interesting as book jaime. but i do think if book jaime dies, then show jaime will die as well.

It was like the Walk of Shame, I anticipated it so heavily that it didn't even like click the first time I watched it, that, this was it. I just want her death to be very grand, but also intimate.
