I just hope Winds comes out before the season starts That would be awesome. Think George is gonna write an episode? I think he might for season 8. Not too surprised about a summer 2017 debut for season 7. Once they were saying about holding off for worse weather for filming...I figured we'd be seeing the show in the summer. I don't even have Penny Dreadful to sustain me this year. Damn  And Vikings went to utter shit. I guess I have Orphan Black's (final?) season to look forward to, as well as the Marvel Netflix stuff. But yeah, it will be a long wait (I never thought I would be saying this after Seasons 4 and 5 of GoT) |

Beautiful locations. I think Almodovar del Rio would make a good Casterly Rock. I would have said Highgarden if it was a bit greener, but I suppose that can easily be overcome right?
Caceras could be Oldtown I think.
That island could work as part of the Citadel. Isn't Marwyn's tower set slightly apart and reached by a bridge?

Watchers posted a photo with flowers in the first plan and then it fits to Highgarden, but as you noticed there isn't green enough. But a Casterly Rock? Perfect   |

It's gonna be a long, long off season though. Well there is always The Walking Dead... At the moment there's the second season of Mr. Robot, so I'm more than fine.  But that won't last till next summer... |

So it's official now: 7 episodes and show return rather next summer than spring. I really like that they decided this and we finally have some more adequqte weather. They didn't say a word about filming in Croatia... That makes it ineligible for the Emmys, right? |

Probably yes, I'm not a specialist with Emmy's rules, but I heard something about a show have to start before 6 May (?) to be included in awards. |

It could make a good Rock though it looks more Dornish to me. Could we perhaps see the Sandsnakes and Co (and Dany whenever she lands) go to the other Dornish Houses? I would like to see that, but I doubt it. |

I gave up on seeing Highgarden when Garlan and Willas were cut, there is no reason for them to show it - unless they show Dany going around the Great Houses (like Team Stark up North in the last few episodes of season 6), but even then she can skip Highgarden as Olenna is already on board. If Euron goes to the Shields and further into the Reach, MAYBE we will see it when Dany is on her way to deal with him, but I highly doubt it. |
