www.ew.com/article/2016/06/26/game-thrones-natalie-dormer"Entertainment Weekly: When did you get the phone call that Margaery wasn’t making it through to next season? Natalie Dormer: I preempted the phone call because in true Natalie Dormer-style I tried to fit a million projects into a single year. I requested [while making season 5 that showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss] release me from working on the show earlier than usual so I could do another project, and they ended up phoning me — and that was The Call. But I got it six months ahead of normal. They were like, “We weren’t going to tell you this for a few more months, but we’re not going to release you now, so you can’t do that job you really want to do and we’re really sorry about that. But on the bright side, we are going to release you proper in the not-so-distant future.” It was good news, bad news — no you can’t do this, but don’t worry, you’re going to have lots more opportunities very soon." This is something I have wondered, what do A-listers (nearly A listers) do about their schedules if they don't know what their employment will be on the show? Either that are pay them more to stay.

Wasn't he the bad guy in Deadpool? Interesting, he was ... didn't see that movie 'cause I have crossed the comic book movie fun fatigue threshold. (Tho I will see Suicide Squad.)

About 2 months ago I took my 14 year old grand daughter to see Captain America: Civil War, she didn't ask to see but we couldn't think of what to see. I noticed that about half way through she was getting antsy and I could see was bored. Not really a teen age girls movie , still. But I felt the same, a good cast, a confusing story, standard comic book 'action' out the whaazoo , ...., I have had with this stuff. I am hoping Suicide Squad undercuts my expectations.

I thought Ed Skrein was very good in Deadpool. And I think, while he was not close in look to Daario, he did have the swagger of book Daario. I am sorry to see Natalie gone from the show, but I am glad she is starring in more stuff and developing her own projects as well. Elementary fans are hoping she will reprise her role on there as well.

The story that was scheduling conflict was the factor ... still much later... even if that was true... Skrein said something about incompatibility .... with the show runners ... or with a cast member? May not know that until after season 8.
