I haven't wanted to mention it because then all the people in the know will start discussing whether or not it's true and spoil me more.  WTF, people are inconsiderate. I don't want to see anything unless we start getting pictures of stoned cast members around Ireland. Most of the cast is in Spain getting drunk |

What are official promotional materials? Today at work the young guy asked me if I saw the epic trailer for the new GoT season. I had to explain to him that I'm a superfan and if there was a trailer it would have somehow been on my radar, and considering the delayed production, it seems way too early for anything substantial to be out. He explained that it was four minutes and really awesome, and it showed Jon Snow holding up a collapsing wall. I had to explain that sometimes people will try to trick others into watching a 'new' trailer, but they're using footage from previous seasons or even unrelated movies that feature actors from the show, and that the scene he was describing might have been from Pompeii. It took a lot of convincing but I think he believe me eventually, but he thinks who ever made that fake trailer is an editing wizard and should be hired by HBO immediately. |

I still don't know what's going to happen next year! Lets have some guesses and predict what we think will happen...i know nothing of any spoilers this year KL: - Cersei gets defeated/killed - Dany is queen of westeros by the end of season 7 - Jaime flees to Casterly rock (perhaps with Cersei) North: - LF continues to manipulate Sansa and Jon's relationship. But with the arrival of Arya and Bran, the siblings work together and Sansa ends up taking out LF. (okay this is wayy too happy but a girl can dream) - Arya makes it to Winterfell - Bran tells Jon who his mother is - Bran makes it to Castle black but the Night's King isn't far behind. Possible attack of the wall/wall coming down. - All NW members die - Brienne runs into Melisandre and Arya. escorts arya back to winterfell. - Dany and Jon meet South of KL: - Sam learns things about the dragons in Oldtown and why the last dragons died out. - Euron attacks the Reach, the banner men are angry. With the alliance of Dorne and highgarden now and possible arrival of Dany and her ships, they defeat Euron. Yara is victorious over her vile uncle, and is made queen of the iron islands. - Sam and Dany somehow interact, he is too nerdy to pass up a chance at seeing the dragons. But Randyll tarly wants heartsbane back, gets roasted by drogon. - Sandsnakes and highgarden help Dany win back KL |

^I agree with most of what you've posted, but I think there will be more conflict among the Stark siblings next year. There's a lot of symbolism about Sansa losing her wolf, both metaphorically and literally with the death of Lady. Whether or not that will come to fruition, it's hard to say, but it could be interesting. It'll be interesting to see how various characters react to the existence of the White Walkers, but Littlefinger is at the top of my list. One of the most Machiavellian and manipulative political figure in the story, how would he react to a supernatural threat to humanity? Would he use it as an opportunity to create more chaos, or realize the superfluous nature of power-mongering when an apocalyptic war is on the horizon.
I also hope Euron poses a bigger threat than your outline would suggest. Season 6 could off most of the remaining villains, but they introduced Euron, so I hope he's not as anticlimactic as Dorne was. I think he might steal a dragon and pose a serious threat to Dany.
