Well it might really be SNOWING in the south crown lands when Dany gets there in S7, I think the Unsullied can adapt, but the Dothraki , that's weird. Here's the odd thing, when Dany gets to Westeros there may be no Westerosi who oppose her, because of the north-of-the-Wall horror-sicle thereat, what then? This has always been the irony I'd hoped for with Daenerys story. As much as people think I'm just a fan-girl for the character with dragons who seems invincible, I am actually not. I like Daenerys because I think she has the longest learning curve of all the "children" we've experienced growing up in the saga. She started out practically a slave and became a slavery fighter and now is revered as practically a God to the Dothraki (so is Jon by the wildings, great parallel there) ... but she has a lot to learn about the one place she wants most to conquer and rule - Westeros. After all this time fighting in Essos, she's going to finally arrive there to find it's not the magical green kingdom she thought it was ... what a shock that will be. Perhaps Cersei will have burnt down King's Landing with wildfire, perhaps the White Walkers will have advanced their apocalypse army that far, we just don't know yet. But regardless, Daenerys has a LOT to face up to when she finally gets where she thinks she's going. I am so looking forward to it as it will be her final growing pains to stop feeling she 'deserves' the throne and realize the fight is much bigger than herself or even her dragons. In her heart, Daenerys is a savior, not a ruler (and a conqueror like Daario said) so I am quite confident she's going to do what has to be done and take her Dragons northward to roast the undead army. Ah. I hope they don't do some sort of cut between Battles out anything, but if they do Jon marching, then cut to Mereen and back North, that'd be fine. The end of the siege of men will be episode 10 won't it? I prefer a full half of Mereen and the North. Cutting to each of the plot's scenes on time would be frustrated as hell. I would like Mereen to be the first battle to appear in the episode, then the North. I think I'd prefer this as well. I don't really like bouncing around from one story to the next unless it's a build-up episode like we've had several times this season... they build up several stories and then we get the end result payoff. But for 6x09, the main focus will be on Winterfell. Meereen should come first and be resolved and then Winterfell to close out the episode fully. Jon and Dany both have big battles ... Ice and Fire!

Yes, I agree. It was like that last year in Hardhome, IIRC. The first half covered two or three storylines, then the last 30 minutes were all Hardhome (build-up and battle).

Maybe the episode opens with The North (pre-battle), like how Cat and Robb were the first scene in "The Rains of Castamere" and then we cut all of the Meereen scenes and then it goes back to Jon marching to Winterfell and SNOWBOWL.

By the way, and slightly off-topic... What the hell happened with Tyrion's supposed vision of Shae? No way that happens in the next episode, with the Siege and the battle, so we should assume that:
a) It's in the finale (probably, but it would be really weird).
b) It was filmed and then cut for whatever reason (it seems unlikely).
c) There was no scene in the first place and Sibel Kikelli was just visiting the set and trolling a bit.

I have never commented on it anywhere in the speculation threads because I always thought (and hoped) it was C) No scene at all with her in it.

Also, considering that they chose Meereen to be in the same episode as SNOWBOWL, I would think those scenes would be pretty good.

It's going to be hard for me to give AF about Meereen when Snowbowl is imminent.

I thought Sibel was headed for costuming? Or was seen in costume? Scene may have been cut, or could still show up. Her Grace mentioned a scenario that I thought was reasonable bout Tyrion having a vision (under the spell of a Red Priestess?) , there was a Red Priestess but no spell.

I'm quite sure she came by for a unplanned visit and they had fun giving her a short improvised role as an extra. The pics of her are from october 5th/6th, so she probably appeared in the episode 1 Meereen scenes (in the crowd fleeing from the harbour, or the audience of the red priest preaching; I tried to find her, but couldn't spot her).

"Oh look, our ride to Westeros has arrived just in time!" Yes, combined with the additional kraken ships that are en route they might have about 15-20% of the 1.000 ships officially needed ;-)

Hi guys! Here I am again looking for advice! I have 1 spot left in my fantaGOT team for next episode (first 3 of course are for Jon, Davos and Tormund) and I can't choose between Tyrion and Daario Who do you think will do better? If Daario fights (and survive), he will make a lot of points, but if Tyrion shows leadership or wisdom in some speech or some military tactics then he could make even more points... I don't know!! What do you think??

What do you think?? Based on the sequence of the plot, there's a chance we may not see Daario yet in Meereen. Just speculation here, but he's with the Dothraki and they may not arrive to help defend the city until the finale. It *could* happen that they arrive at the very end but my bet is that won't be until the finale so you're probably safer going with Tyrion since he's a known character already there and Daario is still a toss up for appearing.
