This episode was fucking great. Lady Crane was such a great character because she was compassionate and good without being an OTT "mother Theresa" trope. She was just a nice person to those who were nice to her. Shame she had to die. That fight scene at the end was just amazing. Very assassins creed. Wish we got to see Arya stab her eyes out tho LOL. The Blackfish was just such a great character as well. I imagine him and Ned got on quite well. Brienne is just pulling straight L's these last couple seasons lol Cersei showed the Sparrows she can't just be pushed around like everyone else, and they were fucking scared. Amazing. The Throne Room scene was perfect because it was tense (the music was just haunting and perfect) and Lena Headey's acting really was just the icing on the cake. I'll miss Varys hope he's in the finale Mereen was weakest for me. Tyrion/Missandei/Grey Worm scene was awkward and random, but I still thought it was kind of funny. Grey Worm straight up roasted Missandei LOL Daenerys coming back was fine. Not much to say. I enjoyed everyone telling Tyrion to shut the fuck up because he has no clue what he's doing. Also, Missandei grabbed that knife without even thinking about it. Noice. Sorry for the wall of text.

Oh yeah, the first guy who the Hound cut down was definitely the one youtube guy that does all the character accent impressions right? FUCKING CHRIST I KNEW I KNEW THAT FACE

I'm glad they've got Arya out of Bravos. As nice and scenic as it is across the narrow sea, whether Mereen or Bravos, Essos is such a pothole for the story. It so far removed from the other characters that it feels they are non existent. It best for her to head home. I feel some stuff was wasted, like Blackfish's death. I like that the Brotherhood are back, and seemingly up for a war with the Walkers. Still I feel that it's sad to see lady Stoneheart gone, but at least we know now

Yep... I think you're right. Qyburn practically lives down in those dungeons so if anyone would know, he would... he's got little rats as much as little birds snooping around is my thinking. Fucking Tommen just betrayed his own Mother ... that's definitely the nail in the coffin for Cersei. RIP Cleganebowl Cersei is used to getting fucked by her family.
If Cersei burns the Sept with the Tyrrells in it, I can bet it'll backfire when it's revealed Tommen is in there too; cue Mad Queen hype. OH SHIT AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Fun episode.
Feel bad for Lady Crane. Loved the Hound taking vengeance. Arya/Waif was great, fist pumping to the end.
I still like Jaime, which I thought I wasn't before the episode. Kind of cool Edmure is still alive, didn't see that.

Trial Cleganebowl might be denied but the way they paralleled the brothers in this episode you have to feel it coming somehow.
The ending of the Arya story, visually if not logically, was absolutely stunning. It somewhat redeemed the disappointment that they couldn't elevate this Braavos side quest into more than a training stop gap. I'll still hold out hope, however unlikely, that we'll find out this is what Jaqen was planning all along. Verbally confirming that this was as much a test for the Waif as it was for Arya would have been nice too but that's nitpicking.
I'm really blindsided by the Brotherhood talking about the White Walkers. No idea how they're going to fit into the bigger picture, rallying the smallfolk towards the Great War maybe? No idea.
Everything Riverrun was brilliant, glad they gave Tobias some good stuff to work with.

I really enjoyed that episode. It was quite amusing in parts. It was obvious that Cersei would be denied trial by combat. Tommen has pretty much disowned her.
I assume that Arya drank from the pool to heal herself. I wish they'd have cut 30 seconds from the drinking game to show how Arya survived. I wonder if Jaqen needs Arya to keep her identity for a mission. I wonder if he sent the Waif to kill Arya so that the Waif could use Arya's face for the mission, and should Arya beat the Waif, then Arya herself would do for the mission and it is possibly someone of Arya's list. Jaqen looked too pleased with the result to be happy to just let her go. I don't buy it.
I enjoyed Jamie. Other than his Cersei love, I liked him being a total arse. I still have high hopes for Jamie and Brienne.

So I guess Sibel Kekilli was just there to during filming to visit and was essentially an extra? I only covered this for the off-chance it still happens the way people thought it was, which isn't very likely

Everything Riverrun was brilliant, glad they gave Tobias some good stuff to work with. Yeah, Cleganebowl is even more confirmed than before, but looks like it will go down differently than imagined. We got to see them performing back to back acts of staggering brutality on shits we wanted to see die. If that's not intentional hype, I don't know what is. Oh, my God, Arya cutting out that candle!! I always assumed what was left of the Brotherhood would help in the Great War. Is that really surprising to everyone? I mean, it's going to be a Dream Team fighting the White Walkers. But before that Snow Bowl and the Battle for Meereen. OH MY GOD. Brienne and Jaime were absolutely amazing, as were Brienne and Black Fish and Jaime and Edmure, but I'm shocked at how good it was to see Pod and Bronn reunite. It would appear that LSH is truly cut. *moment of silence*

I'm glad they brought Tobias Menzies back and he got to do some heavy lifting this episode. Edmure was great with Jaime and as well once inside Riverrun. We probably won't see him and the Blackfish (definitely) back again but it was totally worth having their stories end on-screen this season.
I wasn't sure how they were going to deal with Jaime and Brienne given the situation but that was a damn fine way to keep their relationship going. Super weird that the spoiler said that Brienne gave Oathkeeper to Jaime when they missed that whole important detail about him telling her to keep it because it was hers, which seems totally in character for both of them. I'm interested to see how both of them end the season now because there are zero spoilers about them from here on out and they seem bound to intersect again if not by the finale, then next season.
I'm interested in whether the Slaver fleet coming to Meereen will mean that they will end up with a combo of them and Yara/Theon's fleet to make up the forces to get to Westeros. That seems like the only plausible route.
Oh and Varys/Olenna meeting up in Dorne to pave the way for Dany is totally happening, for those who still doubt it.
Arya's going to the Riverlands because we knew back in the summer she was shooting scenes there, WOTW reported it. "Home" means Westeros (and I'm sure, eventually Winterfell).
Really happy that Beric and Thoros came back not just to be killed by the Hound because that would have been completely pointless. It was strange hearing that they seem to want to head North but I still think they'll hang around the Riverlands until the end of this season. Have to think the Hound will get a reunion with Arya, Brienne or both in the finale.

Well I guess I'm the only one who liked the scene with Tyrion, Grey Worm, and Missandei. I thought it was well done and far better than the first one. I like that they're becoming characters instead of brick walls.

I like that they're becoming characters instead of brick walls. I actually loved that scene. Missandei is so adorably human when she laughs. It made it believable that Grey Worm would have the nerve to then tell Tyrion to stop talking after that.

As if the FM's plan, some power in Braavos's plan, has succeeded. They want Aray back in Westeros or somewhere.

Cleganebowl is still firm guys!! Even if the trial by combat is denied, the fight between Sandor and the Mountain would still happen elsewhere!
