Is this to talk about future storylines and speculate, or is it just like a "Fuck yeah Arya Stark!" type of thing? Because me likey speculating about upcoming storylines. Should I confine that to the season 6 section? I wanna start a Mad Queen foreshadowing thread and a War For the Dawn thread and stuff like that. Where would stuff like that go? Thanks sorry, I still feel like a newbie who doesn't know where anything goes We've got a lot of character appreciation threads (for Art, photos, general fan-girl/boy stuff) - but these new ones in the Character Discussion thread will be for having lengthy speculation debates.

underestimating cersei will be both the high sparrow and margaery's undoing. This. Their mistake is that they think she's just another (more or less) rational player of the game, and they do not expect her level of madness; lots of talk about the HS being a religious zealot (ofc he is), but he's not the one who'd ever vote for a suicide bombing style attack. It's Cersei's who would burn cities to the ground if the game doesn't develop in her favor. And the only thing you could still hold in her favor - her love for her children - suddenly ended when Tommen decided to do something that didn't suit her; all of a sudden Tommen seems to be forgotten (who wrote about her children being mere extensions of her?) and it's "We're the only two people in the world" for her and Jaime. I'm sure those Mad King and "Burn them all" visions are heavily foreshadowing Cersei's walk into madness and (self-)destruction. Or how Mace the Ace put it: "Madness has overtaken this city and grasped in its claws my children. And now we must drive it back under the rocks whence it came." Unfortunately he won't be able to drive Madness back to the Casterly Rock she came from...

They think after a little humilition, she'll be humbled and frightened enough to just fade away. But they don't know Cersei. That bitch doesn't forget anything. She's still mad at the teacher that gave her an A- in second grade lol. To think that Cersei would take the walk of shame lying down is to fundamentally misunderstand her entire being. Margaery Tyrell will regret the day she ever stepped into that Throne Room, the day she started fucking with the Lioness. The High Sparrow will regret humiliating her and trying to turn the world against her.

Maybe a more accurate description of book Cersei than show Cersei imo, but I'm confident that we'll eventuall lose the calm, collected Cersei and go into full "Mad Queen" territory. And it looks like the "I choose violence" line is heading her right in that direction, and it will be glorious

She may be an asshole, but she doesn't take shit from anybody.
