I'm giving it to Emilia for the second straight week. She killed it in her scene with Jorah.

Wow...so many good performances. I'm usually not a fan of Emilia's acting, but she was very good in her scene with Jorah.
My winners this episode have to be Issac Hempstead Wright, Kristian Nairn, and Ellie Kendrick.
My runners up: Alfie Allen, Gemma Whalen, Emilia Clarke, Iain Glen

So many amazing performances this week, but I'm gonna give this one to Emilia. She broke my heart in her scene with Jorah. Kristian Nairn, Ellie Kendrick and Gemma Whelan were phenomenal as well.

Sophie Turner owned that first scene so hard it's not funny. This is the real Sansa reborn. And she's totally thinking of using LF's army to her advantage later on. Runner-up: Max von Sydow. Merely being at the center of the big debacle elevated the sheer epicness of the scene. And he's totally old Bran.

Ellie and Kristian most of all. But Emilia, Sophie and Iain Glen were also really solid.
Also a shout-out to Ania Bukstein and Conleth. Ania for making a high, benign-sounding voice suddenly intimidating and Conleth for his ever-present mastery of reaction shots.

Ania for making a high, benign-sounding voice suddenly intimidating and Conleth for his ever-present mastery of reaction shots. There's a great sense of foreboding in the Kinvara/Varys scene, excellently played by both of them. Yes, Jon and Dany will be key to saving the world but the messiah propaganda around them is going to bring about a lot of pain and violence. That Kinvara sees the dragons as R'hllor's holy weapons is pretty telling in itself.
