Has it been 24 hours yet and the spoilery avatar/signature ban is lifted? I like using your gifs! I don't know not enough people spoke up on the spoiler thing so I have no idea I actually really like this gifset. The composition works really nicely as a set. Thank you! It always throws me off when something is red and orange because the Wall/North scenes are blue and it just doesn't go well in the set. I could have made some b&w and make it look better. If they have Stoneheart and I don't have a meltdown and participate in season 6 challenge I'll make better looking sets Not sure if you are still interested in feedback but the general UK audience would be watch between 21:00 - 22:00 this evening so maybe lift the spoiler-y gif ban after that? Not sure if there is anywhere else where it airs even later that would make this problematic or not. Not that it matters much to me since I don't mind spoilers anyway

9. The Meereen scenes were great compared to last week. Missandei and Grey Worm are just weight, I can't wait for the to die. King's Landing was also great, I really enjoyed Howland's speech. I assume Loras is going to die this season. Dany's scene was a huge letdown. The fuck was that? Okay, it was kinda cool... but I'm really not sure if this was cool or just fucking dumb.

Your second paragraph literally made no sense though. How can you not know if you liked the scene or not?

After a rewatch, I changed my vote to 9. Great, great episode.

As expected, I liked it more on rewatch, especially the Jon-Sansa scenes. I'd say it went up to a 7 or so. Really digging the machinations in King's Landing and Meereen. In both cases, we're getting rational solutions to problems that are invariably doomed to fail. In particular, both Margaery scenes may be the highlight of the episode. I enjoyed all the interactions at the Wall far more this time, although I still think it's the weakest episode for that storyline. Same goes for Winterfell. I just realized Jon probably smiled more in this episode than in previous season combined Vaes Dothrak is still the weak point for me, and given the focus of the episode, it's a crucial issue. The fire scene was directed horribly imo - reminded me of Daznak's Pit but on a (thankfully) smaller scale. It's a perplexing scene: no idea if Dany is meant to come across as badass, villainous or simply deranged (my guess is "badass" but only because they've done this before), but the awkwardness of the staging borders on the comical. But then it was partially redeemed by the shots of the Dothraki helplessly bowing before her. There were a couple of truly beautiful shots there. Guess I'll just take the whole thing as a tribute to Brian De Palma's (awesome) Carrie and move on Oh and the least said about Daario and Jorah, the better. So.... a typical mid-season episode, all in all. I wasn't a fan of "Sons of the Harpy" last year, and then I looooved "Kill the Boy", so, high hopes for the next one.

8! I need to watch it again soon because the service I use was so laggy last night that it was a pain to watch the episode. So I won't comment on the structure or pacing of the episode. ++++ Jon and Sansa reunion. Sooo emotional. Great performances from Kit & Sophie. I'm glad that they shed light to the fact we never saw Sansa and Jon together in S1. "Where will WE go?" ++ Sophie Turner is superadorable. + The pink letter. Jon protecting his "sister" + Edd confronting Jon. He has some excellent points. + Yara and Theon. It's surprising how strong the Iron island- storyline has been this season. Might be the best. + Tyrion trying to restore the economics of Meereen. He truly is an excellent ruler. I enjoyed the Meereen scenes this episode. Some real progress. + Loras and Margaery. Phenomenal acting from Jones and Dormer there! + Ramin Djawadi has created some absolutely phenomenal soundtracks for this season. I can't wait for the album to be released! + Davos FINALLY confronting Melisandre about what happened last season.. also his reaction to Brienne's stupid bragging was excellent. Hope we get to see more of this. But why on earth would Brienne brag about killing someone? + Nice to see Ser Twenty of house Goodmen helping Dany out in her little scheme. +/- The High Sparrow can't get the upperhand against everyone, can he? I enjoyed the scene with him and Margaery to some extent, but it's getting a bit boring. +/- The Vale. LF tells a really bad lie about Sansa and Bronze Yohn can see right through it. LF plan surely is shit. Surely it can't be that easy to manipulate Robin? Yes it can. +/- The big Dany scene. Sigh.. I know many of you absolutely loved it, but it felt quite sloppy and lazy. It was great and it was bad.. at the same time. Dany emerging from the fire was awesome. The soundtrack was excellent as well. Her speech was a bit on the cringey side. I'm quite sure that fire doesn't spread that fast. Three people took out all the Khals in the world? Looks like ser Twenty of house Goodmen is back! - First episode where Winterfell was bad. The murder of Osha seemed pretty pointless and just a way to get her out of the story. Ramsay just doing evil stuff is getting pretty repetetive. - Jaime. Just go to the RL already. - Death didn't change Jon - Dothraki dialogue, hope we won't see much of it anymore. What happened to the S1 badass dothraki?

Highest rating from me this season. A solid 9.
Of course the book purist in me is saying "whatever" to the fire resistance thing, but it made good television and was a beautiful scene. I'm not one to complain about Emilia being naked and beautiful.
The rest of the show felt...well done, for lack of a way of saying it. It looked incredible and looked well put together, and had a lot of good "feels" with the reunion between Jon and Sansa. I'm liking that Sansa seems to be ready for war and is growing quite the backbone, aiming to take back what is hers by right.
Good stuff.

I read that scene as Brienne letting Mel know she knew that shadow baby was her fault too, and she took care of the other person who killed her king. I'm not sure if it was an actual threat or a warning. I definitely think there will be more fallout from all that.

She clearly saw that Davos was sadly asking Mel about what happened to Stannis and Shireen, then Brienne comes and basically tells to his face "I killed Stannis. Fuck you two." Even Jaime wouldn't do that.
