I changed my vote to a 9 because I think was too excited the first time. It was still just as strong as "Home" though. Yep, those two are tied for my favorite of the season so far. If I'm forced to pick I'll go with 6x04. Stark reunion and Daenerys epicness is hard to beat. |

Meereen was the weakest part for me, but watching Tyrion trying to maneuver politically is never a bad thing. Everything else was just stronger. |

Glad to see all the 9's and 10's here - yay!
I really wanted to give it a 10 but when I compared it to Home (which had strong scenes every single one) I couldn't say it was better and it would have to be to get another 10 this soon in the season.
I haven't voted anything lower than the premiere though - this season is just getting stronger and stronger and that bodes well for the second half - I cannot even begin to imagine!

Ok, I lowered it to 9 after a rewatch. Still the best episode 4 of all seasons IMHO.

And btw, I was already giving either a 9 or a 10 before I saw the Dany scene. I liked every single scene, especially the Sansa/Jon reunion and how strong Sansa was in all scenes just made the entire episode for me. But then it was not just Sansa... I loved the writing for all the female characters in this episode and this is something I really, really care about, that's why this episode is better than 6x02 to me (which was already almost a 10). But nothing in 6x02 can beat Sansa, Margaery, Olenna, Cersei, Yara, Osha and even Melisandre in her short but great scene. And then DANY happened, which just sealed the deal for me. So yeah, 10.

I do have a heart somewhere, yes  But I wasn't impressed by what either Kit or Sophie were doing in their first scene. I love that they are together, just didn't like the execution - which is true of most of the episode for me. |

I love that they are together, just didn't like the execution - which is true of most of the episode for me.  |
