Gurl, not all of your Queen's favourite scenes are perfect This was definitely the worst of all her big ones IMO. Your username is Fire And Blood though. I know, because I love Dany and she's one of my absolute favourites Legit can't wait for her to turn up at Westeros on Drogon to rain Fire and Blood done on everyone, but that end scene was still awful. The birth of the dragons, Dracarys, Daznak, hell even Mhysa and the HotU were all miles better

I just didn't understand how the whole place caught fire so easily, did Dany's new friend bathe the ground with alcohol or something? Anyway, Dany never has much impact on my vote (sorry Nick ), so i'm keeping my 10.

Jon's man bun and the Pink Letter alone are reason enough for me to give it a 9, the rest is responsible for the other 1

I just assumed there was some sort of oil in the braziers to keep them going.

Just sayin' I'll have to agree with that, but it's not bad enough to harm my solid 10. If something like that happened in Dorne, though, I think it might have affected it considerably

I'm pretty sure the entire place was made of wood No, the ground was just dirt and the surface under the braziers was stone IIRC.

Quick note that the show does not posit that Targaryen's are fireproof, just that Dany is (because she's special). Viserys melted to a crisp. I have a hard time figuring out why book readers are taking so much issue with it. Martin says the birth of the dragons was a one time thing and we should ignore that Dany was immune that one time and the show thinks that this should be an ongoing characteristic for her. I think they made a good choice there (and they've been consistent with this decision going back to S1 when she grabbed the eggs in the fire without it hurting her).

They made a point to show that it flew the fuck across the room when it fell on the floor, which is accurate to what would happen if a brazier-esque thing is spilled. I would know, I dropped a lantern when I was young one and burned a bush

People throwing round them 10 votes... I'd say it was a solid 9.6, but you have to round up.

I hope they explain off screen that "there was a Greyscale Outbreak. Everyone died." Just throw it into a Small Council meeting or something. It'll be fine.
