My dad's first comment: "Who was that guy who killed Irondad?"
His reaction to Ramsay: "He is alright. Not." (dad pls what is this the 90's)
"Hodor. I mean Willis. Whatchutalkinbout Willis?"
"So now that they killed off everyone that I knew, they're all back as kids. What?"
"Oh that was Max von Sydow. Really lost it over the years."
"Pair of early wall smashings here."
"If the dragons haven't been eating, this is not the best time to visit."
"So since everybody left the room, is Jon just gonna bleed out? He still has stab wounds. They should've sewed him up."

He also just promised to give me an Ironborn seaweed funeral if I die before him! I won't, but you're all invited.

I got identical text messages from my mother and my friend: "I KNEW IT!" Like I didn't or something.

My husband: I saw Jon blink (while Jon is still dead). I don't think he and Davos were buds like that Davos would insist he be resurrected. WHAT DOES DAVOS KNOW??? Who didn't know Ramsey would kill his father, stepmother and baby sibling? Ramsey needs to die yesterday. Everyone at my job HATES Ramsey. He seriously needs the worst death the show can come up with. 30 minutes into the show to me: You know that last scene is going to be Jon opening his eyes, right? Me: We'll see. End of show: I told you so. Me:

Dad assumed that Jon was going to become a white walker. He thought this was way better than the premiere, and also was shocked that Roose died. He said that when the stabbing happened, he at first thought that it was Ramsay who got murdered. I must agree, it was probably 5 seconds before you see which Bolton died.

Finally watched the first two episodes with Daniel. He really is not the biggest GoT fan in the world (I don't think he would be watching the show at all if it weren't for me), so his reactions were pretty boring. We talked about it a little bit afterwards and I had to explain some things to him. Like for example why he should fucking hate Dorne - his initial reaction was *shrug*. The Ironborn confused him, he knew that they are Theon's people, but that's about it, he had no idea what their deal was and what role they play in the overall story. He was pretty satisfied with himself for predicting that Mel would resurrect Jon Snow, even though I told him that it's literally the most obvious twist ever and that everyone fucking knew. He was certain that Mel would lose her glamour in front of everyone and/or die during the resurrection ritual, but of course he was wrong. I really wish I could make him read the books.

She didn't enjoy the episode as much as I did, but she was pretty happy about it.

My other half thought the Ramsey part was inspired and it has given him more ideas of how to insult people (no he won't kill them). He also thought the Mountain scenes were brilliant. He likes blood and guts stuff. He thought Wun Wun was awesome. He wants Jon to come back darker and kill Olly very slowly. Maybe a one day crash course at the Ramsey Bolton school of flaying. He also thinks Euron has the potential to be a very cool character.
He said it was the best episode he'd seen for a very long time. He loved Hardhome, but only the section where they are at Hardhome, not the full episode.

My mum loved it. When Roose died she said, "Well that got my attention!" And when Jon came back she applauded and danced around happier than she has since Joff died. On rewatches she's made me rewind that moment several times.

I have a friend with whom I hadn't talked about the show since the Red Wedding message me all excited about the events here. Another friend told me that I should watch it because it's "pretty good", and when I told him I will eventually (can't now due to exams) but I already know most things due to our Spanish friend, he got excited like my first friend and started talking about the dragons and Jon. No family reactions from me, no chance in hell my family will ever be able to digest such an R-rated show

Guys my dad just stormed down the stairs and starting yelling about how mad he was that Fat Walda went through a nine month pregnancy and had a baby while Gilly's baby has been a baby for three years.

Yeah, Gilly's baby better be walking already in the next episode, though I have to say I wouldn't mind if they came up with some excuse that he's got health issues, with Gilly being concerned that he doesn't grow

Tbh Roose probably married Walda around the same time Gilly's son was born. So she was probably already 7 months pregnant when they revealed it. It would be hard to know whether she is pregnant or not ( ), and besides Roose probably waited for the perfect moment to reveal it. But yeah, Gilly's baby should start walking soon.
