So we're going to meet Euron, Max von Sydow's Bloodraven, Bran's new haircut and our Karstark character. Sansa and Bri will talk about Arya, setting up that reason no doubt for Bri to go to the Riverlands when she knows Sansa's safe at Castle Black. We'll get Tyrion's "I drink and know things" talk with GW, Missy and Varys and see him going to the dragonpit. Myrcella's funeral and all the drama around that between Jaime, Tommen, Cersei, the High Sparrow and so on. Maybe he'll run into Lancel who'll tell him some shit? It looks like Dany will sit this one out but back at CB we'll get the big kerfuffle that was promised and probably the death of many or all of the mutineers once the wildlings show up with Wun Wun. We'll get a WF flashback, Balon a-tumbling and quite a bit of other stuff.
Despite Dave Hill penning it, it looks quite promising.

Did Cogman ever confirm how many episodes he wrote this season? 2 or 3?

I wonder if Tyrion going into the dragon pits going to result in anything? We basically had this exact scene with Dany last year where she goes in to see them, they're pissed, breathe fire and she leaves. Will Tyrion actually release them? Because otherwise, it seems kind of pointless to have a direct retread of a scene from last season.

So I guess he's only in one other episode between this and the Snowbowl, unless the role's since been expanded. I wonder if Tyrion going into the dragon pits going to result in anything? My guess is that that'll be the Meereenese freedmen who're converted to R'hollorism. But I think he'll use his time in the pit to try and learn something or other about them. In the leadup scene with the Meereenese Small Council he mentions knowing a thing or two about dragons so I imagine it'll be about him putting that knowledge to some kind of use.

I hope Tyrion frees Rhaegal and Viserion. I feel so bad for them down in that dungeon.

I really hope Harald Karstark appears in more than just 3 episodes.

Me too though I have a feeling they might not at least this early on... maybe he goes down there a couple of different times or maybe as suggested it's the Red God priestess and/or followers who end up playing some part in it... or the Harpies. I'd like it to be Tyrion, it would be more meaningful but how he gets those big chains undone himself seems unlikely. It's odd they chose "Tyrion demands good news, but has to make his own." What does that mean? Also, curious how Jaime will advise Tommen. I'm guessing in ways to get the High Sparrow to listen to him about releasing Marg.

Do we know Balon bites it in this episode? It just says he "entertains other proposals" so maybe he just has a chat with Yara to remind viewers they're still there

I doubt Ramsay goes to Castle Black. His suggestion will be likely turned downs by Roose. If he does, I think Thorne will tell him that Jon is dead. Ramsay leaves back to Winterfell, but then later the Boltons find out that he is resurrected. I don't think they would have shown it in the promo if it was only going to be shot down and not followed through. I like Nezzer's suggestion that they arrive only to find Wildlings settled all around Castle Black. Some form of the Pink Letter could follow. I don't think Ramsay is going to reach castle black. If he came to CB and found the Wildlings there, i think they would try to kill him. I know he has 20 good men, but i don't think that would work out for him

There was also the confirmed shot of Euron on the bridge but I don't know if that was related to a specific ep or not.

Oh is that confirmed? If so, then I guess that makes sense - they can't exactly explore their relationship in a scene before the bridge

Also the name of the episode "Home" works with Euron coming back after so long. This expression on Balon's face too (in a production still for the episode), seems like one he'd make seeing his brother for the first time in so long.

I just assumed the only time they would meet would be on the bridge. Though I suppose we don't know if Euron was banished like in the books or he just left. If it's the latter, I guess he could meet with his brother before his death.
