Marginalia: If Ben Crompton makes it through this season, which is kind a questionable, he will be among the few third tier characters to have been in all seasons. Some Bran (he first tier?, I think so), Hodor , kind of sort a first tier, have not. Who else? Edd was casted in season 2. Yep! I guess because Pyp (Josef Altin) and Grenn (Mark Stanley),were there I thought Edd was too. Since Pyp and Grenn are still characters in the book I projected that Edd was in season 1.

I think they are. With Benjen coming back and Bran seeing a shitload of visions, it's way too much valuable information being wasted if they don't go back south to contact Jon. I know, I meant that she and Hodor are not on a way back to the North while Bran remains in Bloodraven's cave, which (I assume) is what Boojam thought. If you are north of the Wall aren't you still North? Just a hunch that they would not got further north but head for the Wall. I don't think Bran is with them, in fact is Bran still in the cave episode 10?

Back this season but absolutely no mention the show of where he is. Not sure what episode he first shows up in.

Quote from Maisie Williams:
"That has been the main thing that has kind of been her weapon without even realizing, without knowing she depended solely on her eye sight. Now she has to rely on a lot of other people and trust them in order to help her, which is not a position that she’s usually in. It’s kind of like she’s being blackmailed. She has to trust people that she can’t even see, and rely on them to help her. That’s really, really difficult for her, but ultimately a very, very strong season. She learns a lot of very valuable lessons that she ultimately uses against her teachers."
The only other 'people' are Jaqen and the Waif, in a way they are training her, who other people? Odd training , to succeed, and use against your teachers , not sure what that means.

But that's not to say she continues to follow those directions once she gets her sight back. She learns things and then spins it around on them later.
