You sound like the best mum ever. Aww thank you! I love my boys very much. Did you know they are 15 years apart in age? I have a 'big' boy (the one in college) and my baby, who is only 6. Yes I had a late in life surprise. My baby misses his very big brother a lot and we're going to visit him this summer! As for being the coolest "GoT mum" yeah... I'm probably more knowledgeable than most of my son's college friends and I'm always correcting them on their assumptions and telling them to go read the books haha. My son was only 3 years old when I started reading ASOIAF ... so he knows I'm an expert. It's also really cool to share one of my favorite things with my son now that he's old enough to enjoy the story and show too.

I can't watch GoT with my parents, I tried watching a few episodes of the first season with my dad a few years ago when I was still living with them, but the sex scenes made it all incredibly awkward. My dad has been a fan of the books for years, way before there was a TV show, and he is really critical of the show, much more critical than I am, for sure. Still haven't watched the season premiere with my boyfriend.

The text discussion between me and my dad.
Roose: Did you finally watch the Thrones premiere? Dad: Yes Roose: Well, what did you think? Dad: It was okay, but where is Stannis? Roose: I guess he is dead. Dad: No. Roose: I don't like it either, but he most likely is. Anyway, what did you think about other stuff? Dad: I think Ramsay will kill Roose's fat wife, and then Roose kills him. I hated the whole desert kingdom plot. They killed the wheelchair king, am I supposed to like those Sand Vipers? Roose: Yeah, that was total shit. What did you think about the Wall and the North stories? Dad: Snow is obviously going to be brought back. If he was gone for good, they would've just burned his body. I don't like the fighter woman, she killed the Hound. Roose: And Stannis. Dad: I don't think so. Roose: Ok. What about the ending? Dad: Why is she grannying in her room, while she is supposed to resurrect both Snow?
Last year after the finale he was convinced that Stannis is dead, while I was trying to argue otherwise. Idk why he now thinks he's alive.

My sister walked by as I was watching and it happened to be on the closeup of Cersei at the water. She said, and I quote, "She looks like a lesbian with that hair."
This is why I watch GoT alone.
