***SNOWBOWL***!!! We're starting the countdown to another amazing episode ... SO EXCITED!! ~~~ I'm curious what your "Game of Thrones Ritual" includes every week? Are any of you planning premiere parties? Do you have a special food you like or drinks you make? How do you watch it... on your PC or laptop or on a big screen TV? This will be my first year watching it via my new "HBO NOW" subscription ... I hope it doesn't mess up, I'll be in a rage! I like to order carryout sushi for the big night - it's a huge (expensive) indulgence for me but so worth it when that intro music starts!

I always watch the show with my brother. Always, since episode 1. We get together, order some pizza, grab some beers et voilà, we are ready to watch. It's almost a ritual, certainly. I don't see my brother very often, but during the Season we plan our weekends so we can make sure that the ritual won't be broken.

I always wake up at 7AM and watch the episode before going to uni. That is if I didn't stay up till 3 in the morning because of THE HYPE. That happened last year with both Hardhome and Mother's Mercy, so I watched them live and didn't go to uni. Then I also meet with a group of friends during the weekends and we watch it together for a second time. It can be fun, but I'm not planning on doing that this year, because one of my friends is a book purist and I'm not. We love each other, but we try to avoid talking too much about the show.

I watch in the darkness of my chamber, at 2am, live on my computer. Then at 8am I gotta go to school where I meet a bunch of friends, who watch it live too since last year, because back in season 4 i used to spoil them. It really is amazing for me to be able to watch this amazing show after a whole year with no new episodes.

I watch the episode live on TV with my brother and my mum. And it's usually up to me to make sure the dog's already done his business in the backyard so he won't interrupt us by having to go while the episode's on and nagging my brother to get into the living room on time and making sure my mum's got her Cersei-esque goblet of red wine ready. Basically I get all anxious that the watching experience will be ruined by insufficient hype. This is the first year that we're able to pause the TV though (we got some kind of an upgrade), so maybe I won't have to micromanage quite so much with that option available. I probably still will anyways.

I don't usually have a GoT ritual (hashtag#boring) but me and the hubs make it Sunday night ritual to watch a show at 9pm, which has been a tradition since the Sopranos was on the air.
We watch on our TV and pause it when either he has a question that I have to answer ten times.

I don't really have a ritual. I come home from school, take the dog for a walk, turn off the lights, and start watching. Before I got headphones I used to eat candy while watching, but eating while having my headphones on distracts me.

I don't really have a ritual. I usually watch it in my room on my ipad with the lights off. Then when the episode is over I visit the forum and talk about it for an hour or two. Very boring but that's the way I like it.
Also, do you guys remember last year when we had the first four episodes of the season. Man, those were good times.

Last year I didn't watch the episodes because I didn't want to wait 5 weeks for the new one, but I doubt I could resist the temptation if the same happened now.

I told myself I wasn't going to watch those leaked episodes but I broke down like a junkie desperate from withdrawals. I caved and watched them. Then, 2 days later I had huge remorse because that meant 4 weeks of waiting for the show to catch up again and because the leaks were a turdly thing to do anyways. I don't want that temptation anymore!

I don't want that temptation anymore! I wasn't a nice thing to do, however, I did enjoy it. It may be because I've been spoiled by Netflix' releases all the episodes for a season on one go, which I really enjoy. And it's not like I wouldn't watch the episodes again (which I don't actually do with GoT) but when i like a show I'll watch it over again. Anywho, the anticipation this year is very high. Not only because we have no clue about the direction of the story but also because despite the leaks we have gotten this year HBO has been much better about keeping the big stuff hidden.

The day involves pretending to work, coming on here and seeing the show threads pop up all active and i have to wait to see it when i finish work/uni. Then sometimes i pretend to work on my computer but i'm really watching the episode. Then me and my family watch it and ask me a million questions about everything. So really, i deserve to watch it on my own first. Basically, Monday is GOT day and anything else on that day doesn't usually get done

Always ask me a shit ton of questions every episode and I'm always like "it's different in the books ffs"

FIVE DAYS TO GO MY FRIENDS! I'm so excited to have such a cool group of internet friends to share the excitement with! I haven't ordered sushi in about 3 months now just so I could savor the deliciousness of expensive sushi and spring rolls for the special occasion of premiere night! I'm going to duct tape my kid in bed when the show starts as he has been having a harder time falling asleep lately (spring) and I am not going to have my six year old peeking his head around the corner of the door while I'm trying to "get in the zone" as the show starts. LOL. Is anyone else subscribed to HBO NOW? That's my only other fear since it's my first year using it - that it will somehow screw up streaming on me!

Last season I watched with three friends, but now Mr. Witchy is watching too, so we'll be watching here. I usually have red wine and cookies. Maybe I'll don my Cersei dress.
