Thought I'd bring this post over from vol. 1, since I don't think sati had a chance to see it. :whip: Snape and Stannis smiling on the same page? This is spectacular! Stephen is lovely and smiles a lot I like that he occasionally does this on the show He is that. Not quite in Alan's class, but still... :snape:

Joining in... JINX, I was just mentioning this scene a minute ago on Westeros board. We're complaining about Batman getting the task of telling the best tales, like Sandor and Gregor, here, and now The Tourney of Harrenhal. I was NOT counting, play with her ass.

They are just being respectful and giving Mentally Challenged ShowFinger preferential treatment, as required by the law in many countries.

I think these tasks for ShowFinger are more of an.........intelligence test, to see if he can keep the details straight and perhaps lose that MentallyChallenged tag in front of his name. Whelp, he didn't recite enough of the Lyanna and Rhaegar story to receive any extra points from me, that's for sure. dragon2

[ MOD ] Lets remember that all talk of the leaked episodes beyond Episode 1 belong in the Ep. 1-4 spoiler thread. Or, if you must mention details from those episodes here or in other threads, please spoiler tag your remarks. Many people here have chosen not to view those leaked episodes because they want to experience those episodes as they air. Lets respect that, thanks. [ /MOD ]

As far as I recall, way back before screeners were announced, the recitation of stories of the past was common knowledge over on Westeros, including the fact that it would be LF telling Sansa some of it. That's been known and discussed since before the screeners were everywhere. We knew there would be at least three history lessons, and LF was getting the Lyanna one.

[ /MOD ] It's wasnt about the leaked episode.......this was common knowledge over in the old casting threads The exact amount of the details were the thing that was up in the air. I wouldn't be surprised if most of this is still in threads that weren't deleted over there.

Yup, we knew about it before the leaked episodes. I have no problem trying to be careful, it is hard to keep straight. I'm happy to be careful about exact deets. As was LF, actually, LOL

That's not from the speculation in the old casting thread--that's directly from the leaked episode. That tells us (who haven't seen the leaked episodes) how that conversation goes down in Ep. 4. No major deal, but a lot of us would like to see and hear and experience those scenes ourselves, as we watch the episode.

In all honesty, what the episode reveals is that LF perhaps says a bit less than we expected. Whatever, I wasn't trying to ruin anything for anyone.
