Each episode usually has at least one significant death, so... have at it! If that Davos clip is in 6x01, could Aliser or, dare I say, Olly, bite it in the premiere?

While I would love to see Ghost rip Olly's throat out, I don't think he will die yet. I'd also like to see Aliser Thorne around a bit more but what use will he be once the jig is up? His story arc is done. He and the other NW men need to die. There's already so few, this is the last of them other than a handful who probably would follow Jon Snow. My death predictions for 6x01: Bolton men chasing Theon/Sansa (at least a few!) Some Night's Watch men... possibly Thorne No major characters.

If the Davos clip is from the premiere, then I see Alliser Thorne, Othell Yarwyck, Bowen Marsh, and Olly dying.

I don't think the show is going to be go down the path of having any of its "virtuous" characters kill a little kid, regardless of how the audience feels about the character.
So I'm putting it out there that Olly is the "feels really bad about his previous choice and does something to redeem himself" guy within the NW crew. He could still (and probably will) end up dead but I don't think they're going to have Jon, Ghost, Davos or any of the "good guys" be the ones to do it, as much as some people may want to see it.

I think they will have Jon to kill him in some way, to show that he isn't the same person he was before his death. They haven't shied away from killing children before, I don't think Jon being a "virtuous" should make a difference.

But if the point was to show that he wasn't virtuous anymore then, yes, it would work. Still, I hold onto my hope that Olly lives to see the WWs pass through the Wall and lives to regret his decision in full before he's wightified. Y'all think you're cruel on the lad by wanting him to die via Ghost or Jon. But trust me, him surviving to 610 is the most painful way for him to go. Emotionally at least.

Anyhow, we'll find out by the end of the day, I'm sure. Perhaps not in this thread...but we'll cover it.

That's a good point, they have to show us that Jon isn't the same anymore, he's dark, harsh and unforgiving. Just like Stannis!

I want one cold and harsh Stark to this story, just like the old Kings of Winter. Rickon is too young and most likely dies soon. Jon needs to be the one. A mix between Ned and Stannis, with a bit of wildling cruelty added. Which would then culminate with Jon becoming the new Night's King by the end of the story.

My bet is on Thorne, killed by an angry Wun Wun. Maybe Ellaria too, but I doubt we'll see any Dorne in the premiere.

I'm going to say 4 Bolton soldiers. Probably some Bolton dogs too.
I'm undecided about the Nights Watch. It depends on whether the clip of Ser Davos, Jon's mates and Ghost is from episode one or two.

I'm PTSD'd almost from the idea that S6 is almost here when I saw the thread.
In any case... they have to leave people around so that whatever disaster happens later at the Wall has a strong emotional impact - so they can't just wipe everyone out of Castle Black. On the other hand, a lot of these characters that have sustained Jon's arc do not need to be around any longer, most like.
I'd say Yarwyk and Bowen bite it. Olly... I think Davos would spare him. Olly... might even follow Davos, Jon, and Mel around this season because Olly is the showrunner's character.
I could see Edd making some kind of sacrifice. Roose might be on the docket as the episode ender. Ellaria could be executed.
