Walda and Osha are the only two I could think for being the second candidate, but still burning Osha wouldn't really be a threat if the wildlings don't know who she is. Walda, maybe, but she's not as well known as Roose or Stannis even if she was Lady of Winterfell.

The Boltons obviously have these bodies on the cross-thing to make a public spectacle. It's characters that would impact Wildlings/Jon. Why do they assume that the Wildlings and resurrected Jon would give two shits about Stannis?

How would that help rally the Umbers and Karstarks to fight for them?

We're guessing who is on the Bolton cross during the battle?
My guesses:
1. Wildling leader. I would have said Tormund, but we have images in the trailer of him fighting in the battle so probably not. 2. Benjen. He returns. He helps his family. He dies by Bolton. 3. Pod?? I hope not!

Come and see" meant that Ramsay killed Roose and Walda and wants Jon to come see for himself. But yeah I can't see the Karstarks and Umbers not knowing about it.

Come and see" meant that Ramsay killed Roose and Walda and wants Jon to come see for himself. But yeah I can't see the Karstarks and Umbers not knowing about it. I think the letter is sent before he kills Roose. Roose gets mad for a possibility of a future battle and maybe implies that Ramsay will soon be either dead or a un-legitimized. Ramsay gets mad and kills Roose by poisoning him. Then he blames Walda for it and that way he gets an excuse to kill both his unborn brother and his father's wife. Harald and Smalljon would only know that Walda killed Roose. Of course there's the possibility that Ramsay doesn't kill Roose at all, he just doesn't participate in Snowbowl and instead stays in Winterfell, though that's unlikely.

What about Edd? It certainly would impact Jon, although it's hard to me imagining an scenario where Edd could be imprisoned by Ramsay. And, IIRC, according to Javi from L7R, one of the bodies is from a character who died last season. I can't really think in anyone but Stannis. Yeah, the wildlings don't care about him, but who else can be?

Yeah I think that Ramsay kills Roose after Jon receives the pink letter, I worded it wrong before. Anyway, Im just going to go with this answer then: "I have no fucking idea who is on those crosses."

Yeah, the wildlings don't care about him, but who else can be? I think Edd will become the new Lord Commander after Jon leaves to fight the Boltons. He'll stay at the Wall and die in the finale when the Wall falls down. My guesses are Stannis and some random character.

I think it could be anybody really. Once they are skinned, you can't tell. I could see Ramsay telling Jon that his sister (Sansa or Arya) and brother (Rickon) are on those planks.

I think it's Stannis and Roose. They both have something in common: they tried to take Winterfell away from Ramsay. (Stannis did it literally, Roose did it tacitly, via the threat of his new heir). It's Ramsay's way of sending a message.
Plus Javi from L7R said one of the burning bodies was already dead in season 5, although I guess he could have wrong info there.
If it's not Stannis and Roose, then Roose and Walda. There aren't really other candidates around.

Burning his own father's body to "send a message", even Ramsay can't think that's a good idea. No one is accursed as the kinslayer, that's one of the reasons why the Karstarks resent the Starks after lord Rickard's execution.

I don't think we'll see anything about Stannis this season. They are bringing back Kit, Nell Tiger Free this year to play corpses. They did the same thing with Charles Dance last year. Dillane wasn't seen anywhere. Here's the other thing. That scene happens 9 episodes into the season. STANNIS is so OLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD news. Audience doesn't give a shit and neither does Jon. It's not Stannis.
