I always thought the notion of having Bran staying in that cave forever was depressingly boring. Dramatically, visually boring, visions or not.
But I didn't think he'd leave this early. Well, I guess technically he spent 2 seasons there, but one is offscreen....
I'd never heard alternative theories suggested so I never put much thought into it. But this is the most excited I've been for Bran's storyline EVER. I'm just glad it's actually going somewhere.
Holy hype, I'm starting to feel almost as hyped for Ice Maul as I am for SNOWBOWL now. Never before have I thought that I would get hype for Bran's storyline of all characters. Next thing I know I'll be looking forward to the Sand Snakes storyline.
If the beauty of Rosabell Laurenti Sellers does not motivate you, nothing will!
“As Daenerys Targaryen rose to her feet, her black hissed, pale smoke venting from its mouth and nostrils. The other two pulled away from her breasts and added their voices to the call, translucent wings unfolding and stirring the air, and for the first time in hundreds of years, the night came alive with the music of dragons.”

Apparently, Bryan Cogman told EW in their last issue: “There are a lot of thematic and explicit call-backs to the seasons that preceded this one, including season 1, with characters meeting in hopefully very unexpected ways”. This seems to support the theory that the Hooded Rider in the trailer is Benjen.

I've always liked Bran. To me his story always felt like it would be very important to the end-game. Did it take a while to get interesting? Yeah, but whatever. I feel like it will pay off in the long run.
New preview is good but I hope they don't give us anything else I want to be surprised.

Only six fucking years
Haha yeah true but like I said he probably only has some important end-game reveal or something. Gotta save that for when stuff gets good or all hope is lost blah blah blah...

Yeah, I think we all knew from the very beginning that Bran was going to be a major player in the future, but both GRRM and D&D could - and should - have made his journey to that destination much more interesting. Before S6 the only part of his story I found interesing was S2/ACOK, but it was mostly because of Theon's impact on his story than anything else.

WTF
Isn't that how the site names them when they're uploaded?
Ned always said that the man who passes the sentence should swing the blade, though he never took any joy in the duty. But I would, oh, yes.
