This is the correct decision and was inevitable after the leaks last year. Besides, to me this is pretty much 100% confirmation that (as we thought) Jon's resurrection is happening very early in the season. I'd say Episode 2.

I doubt they ever send screeners again. Spoiling half or even a third of seasons 7 and 8 seems pointless.

Has Lindaario freaked out on anyone yet because there's no screeners? I certainly hope so . As self-appointed supreme authorities on anything ASOIAF related, they must feel livid and hurt in their huge ego having left without their beloved screeners.

A good call. They've come a long way from releasing the first six episodes as screeners like they did for s1. Of course we'll still get a good outline of ep. 601 from the premiere probably. And we'll have to subsist on just that for about two weeks in April then. Which we should be fine with. We'll still be getting a ton more info regularly then then we are now. There will be Red Carpet premiere on April 12 , they show at least episode 1, so some spoilers from that. Unless they plan to have a Red Carpet with no episode shown!

Yeah we'll get those spoilers at least. Someone will post an outline on reddit or something as always happens. But nothing like last year's jackpot.

I would think Euron will be on his way to raiding Oldtown after the kingsmoot and his invasion of the Reach so I think once Sam drops Gilly off at Horn Hill, he'll return to Oldtown and possibly prepare for Euron's attack. It could be possible that some of Sam's scenes in Oldtown with the maesters were filmed indoors because they take place inside the citadel. Though you're right, unless the casting news was kept secretive, we've really heard of nothing that could lead to Marwyn. And of course Jaqen could always still show up there too. We know now that he's still in Braavos as late as a Jack Bender episode but really he could leave shortly afterwards. After all it's the Waif chasing Arya when she starts to escape, not him. Which isn't evidence of him leaving really...but I think him being in Oldtown in the books is important enough for him to be shoehorned there in the show for late s6. Also that would keep Tom W. onscreen going into s6.
Typing this now I'm pretty sure I've written this exact same comment before point-for-point (except for the new Jack Bender info).
I definitely think it is a possibility Jaqen shows up in Oldtown, I am just not sure if it will be this season. Depending on how important it is, a Sand Snake might be sent to Oldtown too. As for Marwyn, I am not sure how much we actually need him. We already have a maester with an interest in magic...well, ex-maester.

CLEGANEBOWL, FUCKING CONFIRMED. If Sue hadn't found out about McCann staying at that hotel, this would have been a massive spoiler.

Phew...thought that was going to end with Sansa having Jaime executed.
Wonder how credible it is?

I think the premise of this scenario may be flawed. If Brienne finds Sansa in episode 1, then there will be no consequences to straying from her mission in 510. The scene of her killing Stannis becomes gratuitous. And in the pictures Sansa and Theon look to be alone, and Brienne back at the inn. I think Brienne will save Sansa without actually finding her, ie. by killing the Bolton hunters. But I admit this alternative scenario raises other questions - why does Brienne go south? I do think Jaime will end up at Winterfell in the finale.

Assuming that they still want to do a similar scenario to what is in the books, including a Brienne/Jaime conflict, then someone will need to give Brienne her mission to "abduct" Jaime. So if it's not LSH, I think Sansa is a very good guess. But I agree with you. There should be some kind of consequence to Brienne's decision in 5x10...
