How do I unmark a thread I've posted in before so that it will stop tempting me to come read its spoilery new posts?

You mean that it doesn't show up in Participated anymore? Idk if that's possible, though after a few days it'll unsubscribe you if you didn't post anything in it.

I think if you go to the thread and hit Actions, next to the search bar, you can click Mark As New, then it will give you the option of Mark As Read Forever so you won't get told about new posts anymore.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I think you're wrong. Or (more likely) I'm overlooking a big blinking red light that says "mark as read".

You could delete your account and join back up, fresh and reborn.
