I never ever like even for a second doubted about Jon being revived. like since i read ADWD lol I'm not a fan of resurrections to be honest, but unfortunately Jon saying dead would simply be poor storytelling.

I think we should get used to this kind of marketing. It's only going to get worse from now on. Seasons 7 and 8 probably will have no more than one trailer, either.
The truth is trailers spoil a lot. From last year's trailers we could infer that Sansa married Ramsay, that Brienne went North, that the Sand Snakes were after Myrcella, Hardhome.... so basically almost everything that was original to season 5 (not in the books).
And that was back when the series was behind the books. Now that it passed the books, each trailer is basically 95% fresh spoilers. Makes sense that they're reducing it to only one.... and I'm ok with that. I think it's for the best.
Which doesn't mean that they aren't trolling us with the teasers.

ASoIaF/GoT might not be for you then. Considering the story started with resurrections. It's not like it came out of no where. The WW are one thing, but as long as being resurrected comes with a cost like Beric and Cat, I'm fine with it. Jon will likely be a darker character when he comes back. And I'm all for that.

My problem is when characters are killed in a shocking death scene and then resurrected as if nothing happened, and that type of resurrection did come out of nowhere during ASOS. This kind of stuff, along with the extreme amount of fake deaths in the saga (which is a much bigger problem than resurrections IMHO), is why I'm not that affected by deaths in ASOIAF anymore. Anyway, there's a ton of stuff I dislike in this series, but I still love it to death

Well a lot of that stuff we figured out with anicillary details. I don't think there's any way we would have gotten it from just the trailers. I agree though, I'm fine with only one trailer as long as it comes out at an early enough time to get people hyped without pissing them off.

Since when has Jon & Meera = siblings been popular? My non book reader friend was trying so hard to convince me that it had to be true. It was so annoying lol it's not one I subscribe to, but it's really not that crazy. Meera is the same age as Jon and her father was one of only two people present at the Tower of Joy. Why is it ok for Ned to have taken a secret baby home but not him?

Yes and we've known that for a while. Larry: What did he say? Moe: He didn't say.

Well, he could've avoided the fury of his wife if he made Howland take both. But really, it's based on hair. That's why I find it so stupid.

That's you'll take the boy and raise him as your own. And that Robert will never know...

So, GRRM is definitely not writing any scripts for S7 either.

I agree for the most part but I just hope we get a trailer SOON. i can't wait till the cast starts promoting either. thats always fun.

So, GRRM is definitely not writing any scripts for S7 either. Interesting. It will be kind of awkward if he goes back to writing for the show for the final season. So apparently he still has some motivation to finish WOTW. Maybe he knows some of the big spoilers have been saved for season 7 and he thinks he can beat the s7 premiere? Not that this mindset worked for him this year....
