Are there any HBO big events coming? It's so stupid they would waste Vinyl night on this Yep. Sometimes, I swear that the people on this board could do a better marketing job than HBO. Anyway, I'm sure the trailer will drop soon. |

Although I will say is the teasers so far aren't nearly as bad as the sights we got last year, but yeah the Battle Banner Teasers were better than this one. Oh, yeah, I really liked the Banner Teasers. At least they have new dialogue on them. That's another reason because this one feels a bit lame... like a step back. Although I suspect that most people feel disappointed is because the hype. Many people would not have felt that way if HBO had not announced the date in advance. Well, it's not the end of the world. A proper trailer must be near. |

At least the two teasers before this had new dialogue so it provided something worth speculating over. Using old characters and old dialogue is cheap. And like Belle said, I'm sort of sick of the Valar Morghulis marketing too. If I were them, I'd center it around Melisandre's "The night is dark and full of terrors." line. It fits since her powers essentially drove Stannis to his grave last season and she's going to bring back Jon Snow. Why not center it on that? |

These are the people who pulled the Sight shit with us last year and then had the gall to say they wanted to piss the fans off. Approach GOT marketing with the mindset that they want to irritate you, and you won't be disappointed. Glad I didn't expect much of anything.

It doesn't even feel like a teaser, just a promotional video.
Teasers should require, actual footage of what they are teasing.

LOL, I can't.  Hey, at least Catelyn is in there.  Basil will like that.  I really enjoyed that teaser, to be honest. I don't care about new footage all that much, I can wait until April, and the teaser had great and creepy atmosphere, I loved that. |

I have a (somewhat stupid) theory that Arya is going to see her mother's face in the Hall of Faces, so it was nice to see it come to pass (sort of) here I like this teaser, although at this point we deserve some footage too. I have to re-read the books but I thought she saw the faces of her family there in the books. |

I liked the teaser but it should have been released earlier. There was nothing new. That could have been released a month ago so we could have gotten new footage by now.
