It'll basically be all late ADWD and early TWOW stuff. Reconfigured around Tyrion and Varys and bringing in Kinvara as a gender-swapped Moqorro-Benerro composite character. So we'll get a bit of politicking, a siege by the Yunkish, some incarnation of the Battle of Fire and then Dany coming back and saying, "Let's get out of here." I imagine there'll be a lot of two-hander scenes between Tyrion and Varys. Of it all I think Kinvara will the most interesting element. In part because I think throwing in the religious element into that storyline has a lot of good potential and in part because Melanie Liburd is  So you think we'll only get the first half of Dany+Tyrion's TWOW material? I could see that happening, although GRRM's plot pace is so slow since AFFC that I'm not sure Dany can land in Westeros in late TWOW either. Basically, I can see season 6 going like this: King's Landing: first half of TWOW. Oldtown: AFFC + an event from early TWOW. Dorne: Invented. Iron Islands/Euron: AFFC + ADWD + an event from early TWOW. The Riverlands: Late AFFC + early TWOW. The North: All of TWOW. The Wall: All of TWOW. Bran: All of TWOW. Arya: Nearly all of TWOW. Dany/Tyrion: First 2 thirds of TWOW. Some storylines will need "artificial" endings (same happened in season 3). And then they must all quickly get on the same page in season 7. What do think about the 'excerpts' from Winds of Winter, how they fit in? It odd that GRRM let out a lot of 'breaking the siege of Meereen' Sir Barry, Tyrion, and Victarion. Looks as if something something 'battle at Meereen' happens later in the season, tho muted unlike the book. Don't know how many Tyrion-Barry-Meereen chapters there will be but looks as if a lot of action is skipped, plus the , seemingly, merging of Dany and the Ironborn story , so to speak. MERCY seems used up, used twice S4 and S5 , after a fashion.... so don't know where Arya's story goes in Braavos. She was blind in a kind of more 'benign' fashion in the books. |

Actually, maybe I'm just going crazy/imagining things, but I would not be surprised if that's Jon in the crypts staring at the statue of Lyanna? |
