i reckon you are more like 80% right Alcasinoroyale. It's possible, but a fucking trailer would help!

I hope Sophie isn't being her usual trolly self in that interview. Sansa needs to do something big like that.
Let the agency discussions began
Also, I think it's pretty obvious we're getting the trailer on the 14th. HBO almost always pairs their new shows with trailers on what follows.

I think what we know so far about The Northern storyline in S6 and even what Liam said about Sansa's storyline would align with what Sophie said. I assume one of Sansa's biggest scenes will be when she's with the Northern Lords, which could be what she was talking about when she said that Sansa is finally getting the respect she deserves. Yup agreed and it makes sense in terms of strategy for HBO with the trailer on the 14th.

Oh yeah @nictarion, I found this interview from October with Emilia that I don't think was ever posted. She did mention that there will be some riding dragons in S6 around 1:03.

Dragon riding, that's a slip. Not exactly a surprise. I am gonna guess that the VFX is not done in situ but that they have a big enough green screen sound stage , maybe in NI. I think doing it all in Spain was a mistake for S5, at least the last 6 seconds or so. Rhythm & Hues did an excellent fix up from the time Drogon appeared till he launchs himself from the pit floor. While the in-flight ride looks ok , still the seams show. That needed a full green-screen studio CGI work up. If asked HBO would have sprung for it, they have got the bucks these days for the show (at least Time-Warner does!).

She is so fucking adorable. With bountiful thighs to boot. But I believe Al wanted your input on the question of dragon-riding more so than...well, you know.

Must've missed that completely in my run here.

Hopefully they improve on the dragon-riding effects, especially if we're going to get a lot of it from now on. At least we can finally say we're getting a trailer next week.... assuming we get it on the 14th, that is.

I just remembered that the NBA All Star Game is on the 14th. I could definitely see HBO doing what they did a couple years ago with the Golden Globes and putting out a trailer to get people watching the ASG to tune in to HBO and maybe stick around for Vinyl. They like doing it during other big events. The 14th seems more and more possible every day. Also its Valentine's Day so if there's no trailer, they don't love us.

Cogman just spewed this trash. They can't even write about it and lets be honest...those "Making Of" were short and not really substantial to begin with and you are really expecting a full fledged trailer in 14 days? So no short written article but a trailer?

Quick question...taking a look around the forum and is there no Rant & Rave thread or something equivalent?

So no short written article but a trailer? Spoilers will be impossible to avoid anyway as soon as they screen the first episode (usually a month in advance of the HBO premiere) and when they send the first 3 or 4 screeners to critics, so.... a trailer will be the least of their problems.

Which is why Cogman makes no sense here. If he's implying they can't write any simple articles how does he expect there to be a trailer? There cannot and will not be a trailer count like in previous years. The screeners won't be out until late March/Early April, so they only have to worry about spoilers for 3-4 weeks. We're talking a trailer 2 1/2 months before the premeire here.
