They will show all of those three in the trailer. Then leaving off on a cliffhanger was pointless to just spoil it in the trailer and what evidence does anyone have that supports the trailer launching with Vinyl? There's this little thing called common sense...

There's this little thing called common sense... Come the 14th lets see if you're still saying this. They are positioning Vinyl to be a big part of their plans moving forward. Not some afterthought that will play second fiddle to a trailer. So yeah. Bring on the 14th.

Wouldn't having the S6 trailer right before the premiere of Vinyl bring in more viewers though? I'm sure HBO would want to take advantage of this.

I don't even know what this Vinyl is or what it's about, but it won't be good.

if the trailer will be released on the 14th, we'll know in a week. HBO has always announced when they release the first trailer for every GOT season about a week before.
if there is no trailer announcement in a week, then we're not getting a trailer on the 14th

Season 3 trailer was February 22nd and the premiere was April 10th. I see no reason why it won't be the same this time.

Well there really isn't a pattern at all. Season 3 trailer was February 22nd. Season 4 trailer was January 12th, but they made the announcement with a tease 2 days before. Season 5 trailer was January 30th, but they announced it would be with the IMAX experience. Now they didn't really have a new drama last year in the Jan/Feb - April time slot like the did the year before with True Detective, but this year they do so whether it's wishful thinking or not, it would make the most sense to have it before Vinyl. And if I'm wrong about this strategy, then please do the honors and shoot me.

I love that the speculation has moved from the actual content of the season to when we'll get a fucking trailer Here's something to rip apart. ARYA STARK, JON SNOW, AND SANSA STARK SEASON 6 PREDICTIONS Now this obviously needs a lot of editing, but I think maybe about 20% of it is right given that we've received spoilers and clues about several of these scenes. I'm pretty sure that after the trailers, promo photos, etc, are released, a significant amount of the details will likely change, but feel free to criticize everything. Episode 1 At Castle Black, The Night’s Watch take Jon’s body to an ice cell until a funeral pyre is built, but are unaware that he warged into Ghost. The mutineers decide to go after Ghost, but he rips a few of them apart. Melisandre soon finds a couple of the mutineers attempting to kill Ghost and stops them asking for Jon. When Melisandre is told that Jon is sleeping in an ice cell for treason, she tells Davos and he argues that the need to leave, but Melisandre refuses without seeing Jon’s body. They confront Edd about what happened and tell him to take them to Jon’s body. Edd opens the ice cell and Melisandre finds Jon is dead with several stab wounds to the chest. She gives him one last kiss and leaves back to her chambers with Ghost. At Castle Black, The Night’s Watch meet in the Great Hall where the Alliser and the Mutineers meet with Jon’s supporters including Edd and Davos and articulate their reasons for killing Jon as him making peace with the wildlings is against everything they believe in. Edd and Davos attempt to offer the side, but Alliser, Othell, and Bowen shut them down. Alliser is later elected as the new Lord Commander. Camped close to Castle Black, Tormund and the Free Folk become restless when they hear of Jon’s death, as he was their only strong supporter in the Night’s Watch and now Alliser Thorne is the Lord Commander. Tormund contemplates going back to Castle Black and killing the mutineers, but decides to keep moving south as the new leader of the wildlings. Having fled Winterfell, Sansa and Theon are running through the Wolfswood pursued by Bolton scouts. They encounter Brienne and Pod, who then kill the hunters. Brienne swears her oath to Sansa yet again, except this time she accepts. Brienne then assures Sansa that she’ll bring her to safety and the group decides to travel north to seek refuge at the Wall as Sansa learned that her bastard brother Jon is the Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch. Episode 2 Arya lives in the streets of Braavos as a blind beggar, still tormented by the Waif’s games. The Waif hits her, expecting Arya to fight back, yet she is too hopeless to even try. In the absence of her sight, Arya begins dreaming about warging into Nymeria, her long-lost direwolf who now roams the Riverlands and commands a pack of wolves. The group arrives at small Northern castle where Sansa attempts to convince the lord that they need a place to stay and rest. She eventually reveals to the Haggard Lord that she is Sansa Stark. After he invites her inside, Brienne questions his allegiances and asks whether he would bring Sansa back to the Boltons. The haggard lord tells Sansa that “The Northern Remembers” and the Boltons will not hold Winterfell for much longer. Sansa and Theon find a Heart Tree where Theon makes a confession and begins hearing Bran’s voice. Sansa tells the Haggard Lord that Theon did not kill Bran or Rickon, who believes that they could have gone to Last Hearth. In Winterfell, when Ramsay is informed that Sansa and Theon were not found, he quickly heads to his father’s chambers where Roose is having dinner with a pregnant Walda. Ramsay is furious and Roose tells him that he needed to be more discreet with his amusements as it could now cost them the North and the Northern Lords, still loyal to the Starks, could take advantage of the situation. Ramsay argues with his father and Roose says, “A peaceful, a quiet people. That has always been my rule. Make it yours.” Ramsay travels to his chambers and writes a letter directed at Jon Snow, who he believes that Sansa and Theon could seek help from. Episode 3 Arya learns to warg properly and, undettered by her blindness, she uses a cat’s eyes to see and give her an edge over the Waif in her game. The Faceless Woman considers Arya to have passed the test, as she isn’t aware of her new warging abilities, which are an ever-strengthening tie to her old life as a Stark. Having been given her sight back, Arya visits Jaqen at the baths and tells her to resume being Lana from the Canals. Having recently made a quick visit to King’s Landing, Littlefinger travels to the Vale to Lord Yohn Royce’s keep in Runestone. He sees that Robin Arryn’s skills have improved, but that he is still weak fighter. Littlefinger reveals to Lord Royce and the other Lords of the Vale that Sansa is in the hands of the Boltons in Winterfell and has been forced to marry Ramsay Bolton, but claims that he had nothing to do with it. Royce tells Littlefinger that it would be a risk taking the Knights of the Vale back north, but considers that Sansa needs to be safe as she is a Stark and Ned was his old friend, which would recreate an alliance between The North and the Vale. During the night, Brienne reveals to Sansa that she saw Arya with The Hound, who she eventually brutally injured in a fight. Sansa becomes more hopeful knowing her sister is alive and tells Brienne to bring Theon back to the Iron Islands as well as find where Arya has gone and bring her home. Sansa knows that the Boltons will still be looking for her, but assures Brienne that she already survived being Ramsay’s toy at Winterfell and trusts the Haggard Lord enough to be on her own. The Night’s Watch arrive at Jon’s funeral where Melisandre and Davos stand near the pyre. A few of the Night’s watch brothers, including Alliser Thorne, Othell Yarwyck, and Bowen Marsh deliver some words about their fallen Lord Commander before torching the pyre. While Jon’s body is being ceremonially burned, Melisandre continues praying as she now believes he is “The Prince Who Was Promised.” To everyone’s surprise, Jon rises from the ashes, alive. Episode 4 Following Jon’s resurrection, Alliser and the Night’s Watch are greatly in shock and demand that Jon stand trial for treason and witchcraft. However, Jon tells them that his watch is ended and that he relieved from his vows so Alliser can keep The Night’s Watch. Melisandre decides to take Jon back to her chambers where she seduces him successfully. Melisandre tells Jon that she has seen in visions that he is Azor Ahai Reborn and that his sister Sansa is heading north fleeing from her arranged marriage to Ramsay. Jon doesn’t believe her words until Davos spots the Pink Letter on Jon’s table. Jon reads the pink letter, in which Ramsay exalts himself for Stannis’s defeat and demands that Jon return “his wife” and “his Reek” to Winterfell. Jon then reads Ramsay’s final words, “Winterfell is mine. Come and see, bastard” and tells Melisandre and Davos that they are leaving Castle Black immediately. Jon takes Longclaw and Ghost with him and rides out of Castle Black heading south for the Wildling camp in The Gift. Episode 5 Arya continues in costume traveling through the markets of Braavos and comes across The Gate where the mummers are putting on a play called the Bloody Hand. She watches the play, which is a satirical reenactment of The War of Five Kings portraying the Lannisters as the heroes. She reports back to Jaqen about what she saw and he gives her a new assignment with Izembaro. He tells her that’s a test of whether she can truly become “no one.” During his journey south with Davos and Melisandre, Jon reunites with Sansa, who has been staying with the Haggard Lord. They share their stories of blood and betrayal. Jon tells Sansa about the menacing message from Ramsay and the siblings decide that the Boltons must be take out, and not only for vengeance, but to restore the Starks into power and keep the North united and strong against the White Walkers. Jon, Sansa, Davos, and Melisandre arrive at Tormund’s camp in The Gift where Tormund is pleasantly surprised to see him. After Jon describes the situation to Tormund, he and Sansa write letters to all of the Northern Houses explaining their plan to destroy the Boltons and take back Winterfell for their family. Episode 6 Arya meets Izembaro, who plays King Robert in the play, the Lead Actress, Lady Stork, as well as the several of the theatre troupe members. Arya is given the role of Mercy in the play. Izembaro gives Arya and the acting troupe advice on how to please The Gate’s crowd during their performances. During The Bloody Hand, Arya witnesses a satirical version of what really happened at The Red Wedding where her mother and brother were killed. She begins to resurrect the feelings of her family and life in Winterfell and it feeds her desire to go back to Westeros. Arya meets with Jaqen telling him about her training with Izembaro, however he senses that she is still lacking the desire to become a true Faceless Man. After hearing that the Northern Lords are rallying against the Bolton rule in Winterfell, Ramsay tells Roose that he gave him nothing until he meant something of value. He feels that his newly acquired legitimate heirship is in doubt since Walda Frey is about to give birth to a legitimate son. Roose answers with “Don’t make me rue the day I raped your mother.” Ramsay kills Roose in his chambers and sends his men to kill Walda and their unborn heir to be sure, and supplants himself as Lord of the Dreadfort, Lord of Winterfell, and Warden of the North. Besides the bannerman who follow Ramsay, some of them believe Ramsay’s actions have become too reckless, but Ramsay assures his father’s supporters that the same will happen to them if they don’t cooperate. Littlefinger eventually convinces Robin and the Knights of the Vale to invade the North and take Winterfell from the Boltons, just as Littlefinger promised Cersei they would last season. He soon leaves Runestone with an army carrying House Arryn banners and heads north on The King’s road for Winterfell. Episode 7 When Arya learns that the acting troupe is traveling to the Riverlands from a Westerosi Captain, she realizes that she must escape. Arya takes the opportunity to dive for the silver that she stole from the Hound to use in order to board a ship back to Westeros. When Arya travels back to The House of Black and White, Jaqen is furious and reveals that she has failed her training. Arya attempts to make an escape and Jaqen sends The Waif after her. In the Gift, Jon convinces Tormund and the Wildlings to follow him to Winterfell and fight against the Boltons, in which they accept. Sansa is immersed in Northern politics, taking Davos with her to convince the Northern Houses to fight for Jon. Eventually, most of the noble houses in North respond to her call to banners and pledge to support the Starks, from the Mormonts to the Hornwoods. Sansa and Davos nearly run into Arnolf Karstark, who is on his way to Winterfell to meet with the Boltons. They eventually succeed in retrieving Rickon, Osha, and Shaggydog, who were last seen heading to Last Hearth, and decide to travel to White Harbor. Episode 8 Arya decides to board a ship, but on the way there The Waif finds her and chases her throughout the streets of Braavos with a bloody knife. Arya jumps from a balcony to elude The Waif and believes that there is no escape. During the chase, The Waif changes her face several times, but Arya ultimately kills the one chasing her. Arya retrieves needle from the rocks where she hid it and contemplates for a second what's she doing before she heads for the docks. When she realizes that her desire of becoming a complete Faceless Man is gone, she escapes to the Harbor and uses the silver to board a ship to Westeros. Sansa, Davos, and The Loyal Northern Lords meet at White Harbor where Sansa shares her experiences at Winterfell, living everyday in fear of Ramsay, but waiting for the right moment to escape. After Sansa makes a compelling case to take down the Boltons, Wyman Manderly pledges his support for the Starks, though at first he appears to be a retainer of the new regime, he reveals to have been feigning all along. The loyal Northern Lords then agree to follow Jon into battle. The Two Houses that refused to support the Starks are the Karstarks, who haven’t forgotten Robb’s execution of their Lord Karstark; and the Umbers, who may be fiercely loyal to the Starks, but begrudgingly decide they must fight for the Boltons when they discover Jon betrayed his men and intends to attack Winterfell with an army of wildlings, who he is settling in the Gift, too close to their home of Last Hearth. Arnolf Karstark and Smalljon Umber meet with Ramsay and his bannerman inside Winterfell to discuss the strategic moves going into the battle. Episode 9 The Stark loyalists approach Winterfell while Jon leads the thousands of wildlings including Tormund, and Davos and the loyal Northern Lords lead their men in the name of Sansa and Rickon. Ramsay and his bannerman along with the Karstarks and the Umbers ride into battle. Ramsay displays his father Roose and pregnant Walda upside down on the Bolton crosses burning as a message to Jon not to fuck with him. The battle is intense and brutal with Jon’s forces going against Ramsay’s. During the battle, the Umbers eventually switch sides to the Starks claiming their loyalty to Jon, Sansa, and Rickon. During the battle, each side suffers massive causalities including Smalljon, Arnolf, and Tormund. All is decided when Littlefinger, Sansa, and the Knights of the Vale arrive crushing the Bolton Forces. Once the Starks retake Winterfell, Jon and Sansa decide to take Ramsay as a hostage rather than killing him right away. Melisandre appears walking on the battlements alongside the walls of Winterfell and sees the Bolton banners burning as she saw in her visions. Episode 10 In Winterfell, Sansa, Jon, Ramsay, and Littlefinger have a heated interaction in the courtyard as a giant breaks through the gates. After, Jon and Sansa publicly execute Ramsay, Sansa declares herself as Wardeness of the North and to act as Rickon’s regent until he comes of age. Jon then meets with the Northern Lords to discuss the upcoming invasion of The White Walkers as well as how to negotiate with the Southern Houses for aid now that the Wildlings have joined Jon’s side. Arya arrives in the Riverlands, where she learns that House Frey has taken control of Riverrun, her mother's childhood home. Arya recites her list hoping to cross another name off, Walder Frey, whom she learns is holding his wedding inside the castle. She soon changes her face to join the acting troupe at his wedding as entertainment where The Freys are also celebrating their victory of taking Riverrun. Soon enough, The Blackfish returns with the outlaws and leads a surprise attack on the castle. Arya witnesses the slaughter of the Freys ultimately an answer to the revenge she wanted for her family being murdered. Arya is able to kill a few on her own, but soon escapes into the woods where she finds Nymeria and her wolfpack ripping apart several Freys. Arya is finally reunited with her direwolf. At the Wall, Alliser now in full command of Castle Black hears the horn blow three times, but is confused when he sees scattered wildlings running from The Haunted Forest to the gates of Castle Black, but is reluctant to let them through until Edd convinces him to do so. They warn the Night’s Watch that there's nowhere else to go as Winter has finally come. Edd climbs to the top of the Wall to soon find that The White Walkers, and the army of the dead approach the Wall in the form of an avalanche. He tells the remaining Night’s Watch as well as the scattered wildlings to attempt to defend the gates for as long as they can. Alliser, Othell, Bowen, Olly, and Edd, and the Night’s Watch convincingly try to hold the gate, but are unsuccessful as the White Walkers eventually break through with their army of the dead towering down the Wall as it slowly collapses. The Night’s King is seen on top of a giant ice spider riding over the dead members of the Night’s Watch.

Here's something to rip apart. Well, that was lots of text. Yeah I imagine viewing it on a phone, it probably looks like a novel.

Well, that was lots of text. Well, that was lots of text. Yeah I imagine viewing it on a phone, it probably looks like a novel. Yup.

The Night’s King is seen on top of a giant ice spider riding over the dead members of the Night’s Watch.
Very interesting read. Most of it seems totally feasible. I hope that you are right in the Arya and Jon warging stuff. Bran being the only Stark who can warg in the show is something that has always bothered me a little. We need more direwolves!
