There's a new baddie on the block. #IAmDane #TheLastKingdom /photo/1 Little late, the new baddie is dead. Wow to that episode though. The battle  , but I was not expecting such a high death toll of named characters, and just when I was starting to come around on Witchy Queen. Expected and hoped for Odda Jr.'s death, but didn't expect it to come at the hands of his father. Saw Baby Uhtred's death coming from a mile away, though. R.I.P. Leofric |

Just caught up now. Good stuff.  I guess it's not a miniseries either since that ending set up an s2 pretty clearly. |

Great finale! Beocca was my favorite part. Loved his line to Skorpa, and the nice scene between him and Ulthred after the battle. This better be renewed. Beocca was pretty badass with that ruthless Skorpa. He was cheeky with Alfred too, when the king smiling told him to wash his mouth. "Yes Lord, with wine!" or something like that.  |

Finan, Rypere, Clapa, Sitric, and those fellas are all in. |

Had to pay the iron price to watch it. Least Netflix could have done was put out a tweet or something saying when theyre dropping the ep.
Thourougly enjoyed the opener. Did they change the actor of Sven?

Man this show is just the best. The casting for every character has been perfect. Clapa and Sihtric are great and they naild Sigefrid and Erik. I think I'm starting to see the direction they're going with them, different from the books but interesting. I really love Guthred, the actor is so good. I legitimately get sad every single time Uhtred and Beocca part ways. Damn this was a good episode.

Also I'm really starting to love the addition of Halig. I was hesitant, but he's a great character. Sadly, I'm totally expecting him to die in slavery so Uhtred and Finan can become homies. |

^ Oh, poor Carson Third episode was great, and had the best performance from Uhtred's actor to date. I really believed he was broken by his experiences, and loved how he let out all his anger on the Priest with the absurd marriage by proxy. The show isn't also very good at doing time jumps. I can't wait to see Brida again. Hild is great too of course but I will be happy to have Brida back. She's was a highlight of season 1 |
