I'm just making this thread to post MGS stuff.  Because I love Metal Gear.  Fanart and cosplay of my three favourite MGS characters: Sniper Wolf, The Boss & Naked Snake.        Awesome Metal Gear music: Snake Eater The Best is Yet To Come And also this cutscene: "Everything she did, she did for her country. She sacrificed her life and honor for her native land. She was a real hero. She was a true ... patriot!"   Most heartbreaking ending of a video game ever, imo. |

So, I finished my MGS speedrun marathon. It was exhausting, but fucking worth it. Best day ever. MGS 1: 2 hours ~20 minutes MGS 2: 2 hours ~30 minutes MGS 3: ~3 hours (just because freaking Volgin killed me a few times ... ) Love these games so much.  |

Eleven years later, and I still wanna know who the hell EVA's voice actress in Snake Eater is.  She appears as "Suzetta Minet" in the credits, but that has been confirmed to be an alias, no one knows for sure who she really is. Some people suspect it's Debi Mae West, who also voiced Meryl, which I suppose could be true, given that their voices do indeed sound similar. I even heard Jodi Benson being a candidate, the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid - or Cynthia Harrell, the lady who sang the (amazing) song Snake Eater (but then again, Cynthia Harrell could just as well be another pseudonym, who knows ...  ) Sadly, I don't think we'll ever know. This is gonna remain a gaming mystery forever.  |

Quiet is the only character I find even remotely interesting, tbh. Her theme is beautiful, too. What's your favourite Metal Gear? It's Snake Eater, isn't it? That's the only acceptable answer.  |

EVA's VA is Jodi Benson, it's got to be! Benson as Aquagirl in Batman Beyond: EVA in MGS3: From now on, everytime I listen to Part of Your World, I will imagine EVA singing it. |

Yeah gameplay is great! Put an embarrassing amount of hours in already. Trying to S all missions now so that's a little tedious. Quiet is fave I love her. I'm assuming you didn't finish it? Let me know what you think when you do. Favorite is Snake Eater. But not by too much. 1&2 are right under it they fight for second place haha. I'm leaving 4 off because I only played it once. I do have to platinum that so it'll be added eventually. It made me cry so that's points lol. PW was actually really really fun but story wasn't too good. |

No, I haven't finished Phantom Pain yet. In fact, I think I'm still in the beginning, like, Mission 15 or something. But I've already encountered, defeated and captured Quiet - and I already know the big twist, because I spoiled the ending for myself. Snake Eater and MGS4 both made me cry. Snake Eater has the best ending in video game history (imo) and MGS4 had one devastating scene after another. Basically everything with EVA made me cry, as well as the entire chapter that is set on Shadow Moses Island. The surveillance camera hitting the ground with The Best is Yet To Come playing in the background, one of the best moments in gaming history. You must have played MGS 1 as a child to understand the gravitas of that fucking scene. |

Yeah I spoiled myself too. Was happy I did actually because I accepted it by the time I got to it. A lot of people were disappointed but I kinda liked it.
Oh yeah cried at 3 too. Agree with you at best ending. In 4 when I thought Snake was dead and Otacon said he lived a good life the tears were flowing omg. I fucking love Solid. EVA is probably my favorite MGS girl. I'm sad we didn't see her more.
