We pretty much got a cofnirmation that Barristan dies since he is stabbed repeatedly and well, it's not looking good. Still not much is known about Grey Worm since those who seen first four eps say it's not sure if he goes. I myself fear for Shireen...that rumored Stannis/Shireen scene seems like just the kind of thing to do to get people to care...before they rip their hearts out. |

I hesitate to say this on sati's board, but I really fear for Stannis. We've seen so much about how they're really playing him up this season, he's in the first 4 episodes, has a special touching scene that even Linda and Elio really liked, might actually accumulate more screentime than he's had in all past seasons combined.
Why? asks my suspicious mind. Because they're going to kill him?

I fear for Stannis every single day of my life HORROR But I don't think the battle of ice is this season...so I'm really hoping that's enough for him to make it out alive this year |

Aside from the ones that are in the books, I'm thinking Barristan, unfortunately. He's probably the one everyone was talking about in interviews saying he had a lot of story left. Bronn could possibly die as well. Maybe Brienne since they are not doing Stoneheart. |

Aww. Well, it's not like we hadn't seen it coming for months and months. I guess whatever his plot function is for the Battle of Fire will just transfer to Tyrion? He needs something to do, I guess. Poor Barry, though. He never really got the chance  |

I feel like that's probably why they are getting Tyrion to Dany faster so that he'll also take over Barristan's role.

Why do people want Stannis to die this season? If Brienne has anybody to kill it shouldn't be Stannis, it should be The Boltons and The Freys. I understand that Stannis seemed like he wanted Renly dead in the show, but he does indeed regret it and it was more of Mel's doing than his.

Why do people want Stannis to die this season? I don't think anybody here wants him to die. It's just that he has a very touching chat with Shireen that sounds just like the typical last conversation between a father and his child we see in so many shows and movies. Stephen Dillane also recorded a promotional video with blood splattered on his face, as if he had just filmed a fight (or maybe his own assassination). Combine that with the fact that Brienne might be heading North after saying that Stannis is only a man and he can be killed, and all the pieces fall into place.

I don't get why people want Brienne to kill Stannis so badly either. (I really hope that doesn't happen as they're both in my top 5 lol)
She should be slaughtering Freys for fucking everything up in the first place. Who cares about avenging Renly?
