Anyone watch it? It's typical Shonda Rhimes (soapy, camp, kind of shamelessly amazing). Anyway, I started watching for Queen Viola, but stayed for Mr. Falahee and his amazing facial hair and gayness.

I don't care about the show as a whole, but Jack Falahee is God's gift to mankind. Connor is my favourite gay character ever ... and I loved his storyline, but that's pretty much the only thing I really enjoyed about this show.  |

I kind of hope he gets more drama next season other than just the HIV stuff with his bae. I kind of hope they recognise him as the weak link and pin the Sam murder on him since Nate will 100% get off |

It has probably more to do with the character he plays than his actual looks. I mean, yeah as I said, he is a very good looking guy, but I really, really loathe that type of gay character. I'm sure Mr Falahee is the nicest guy, though.  |

A guy like him would probably be pretty insufferable in real life I'd imagine, but as a fictional character, I absolutely adore him.  And I think there is more to him than what meets the eye, he just doesn't show it most of the time. |

Yeah, I love characters who are "too much fun to hate", many of my favourite characters fit into that category, but Connor is too superficially written for my taste. Strip him of his sexuality and he becomes just another smug white asshole. But in this case he's a smug white gay asshole. That doesn't make him interesting to me. Besides that, I really, really hate it when gay characters are overly defined by their sexuality. It doesn't offend me, it's even worse than that. It bores the shit out of me. Ok, now I'm leaving this thread, before you and @fireandblood try to murder me.   Pls don't hate me! |
