Imagine if he released a ton of spoilers before the seventh season out of spite?
Then again, considering the check he's probably getting I doubt he's heart broken. Just one question, has this ever happened before? Like a TV series eclipsing a book? George may have broke some sort of record...

Lots of shows and movies have veered off course and/or been more popular than the source material, but I don't know of another situation where the books were established, then the TV series was conceived, made, and broadcast based on the author's outline before the books were finished. He seems so cavalier about the whole thing now. I wonder if he cries himself to sleep at night. |

Lots of shows and movies have veered off course and/or been more popular than the source material, but I don't know of another situation where the books were established, then the TV series was conceived, made, and broadcast based on the author's outline before the books were finished. I am 100% sure we'll get TWoW before Season 8. Hopefully next year.
ADoS sometime at 2020's. Or never.
