Everything they announced makes up “Phase 4” apparently. And we know of other movies that are already scheduled but wont be phase 4 - Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, GotG 3. And you just know X-Men are coming. I suspect the next Spidey is a long way off yet, which is a shame because its probably my current favourite Marvel franchise. Or, it could just be no announcement because they don’t know what/when the the next Spidey will be. The deal with Sony makes things complicated. I doubt Sony will break the relationship, it works too well for them, but because of the complicated rights stuff Marvel cant announce anything yet maybe

WandaVision is what I'm most excited for as she's my favorite. The side characters in the marvel movies are generally kinda weak imo, so I'm glad they're now getting their time to shine with these tv shows. Wanda in particular has been sorely underused so I'm extra glad that she's coming back for Doctor Strange 2

Oh, I finally watched Thor Ragnarok. Really liked it, it was funny and charming. I felt like they didn't know what to do with Loki after the first 30 minutes. I wasn't quite sold on Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie until the end.
I think Cate Blanchett is my favorite Marvel villain. She was fantastic. I hope they find a way to bring her back.

So, who will blink and back down and agree to the partnerships continuing first do you think, Sony or Disney? The decision is utter greed and nonesense from Disney of course

The decision is utter greed and nonesense from Disney of course It's greed on both sides to be fair. Yeah, Disney wanting a 50/50 split is greedy, but Sony need to present a better offer than 5%. Every Spider-man movie they make profits massively from it's connection to the MCU. To be honest, I think a lot of people on the internet are overreacting, as is kind of the norm now I guess. I can't see either Disney or Sony turning away from Spider-man, he's literally been the poster boy for Marvel for over half a century. As much as I'm looking forward to the X-men, I can't wait for them to finally make a decent Fantastic Four movie, if only because the MCU really needs the presence of a big, established villain like Doom, or Magneto. It seems that no one who gets their hands on these characters can actually understand how to write a movie based around them. Fingers crossed.

To be fair, enough people saw Venom to get it in the top 10 highest-grossing of last year, so it's not super surprising that Sony think they should get more than 50% if they think they can stand on their own.
Regardless one of them will give in to pressure eventually. People declaring the end of Spider-Man in the MCU are jumping the gun a bit.

I just want good Spider-man movies. I want him to stay with Disney and be in the MCU, but if Sony can turn out great movies, then that's fine too.

Marvel got another GoT actor in their fold.
Kit Harington will be playing Dane Whitman (AKA The Black Knight) in the Eternals movie. Reuniting him with Richard Madden.
