That was really fine CGI work. I wonder why the tag end of the Daznak’s Pit sequence , while not bad, was kind of , well, off. Was that Miguel Sapochnik demanded full CGI VFX , finely tuned, all the way and Nutter did not? A matter of budget? After Drogon takes off it does not seem they moved to a studio greenscreen with Emilia for the 'flight' out. Seemed awkwardly composed , as if they did not do any studio greenscreen work with Emilia.
It's interesting there were supposed to 100,000 wildlings at CB, but another 100,000 show up at Hardhome.
