Even though we have no idea who has been cast or will be cast as Euron Greyjoy - I thought this fan made concept art of Mad Mikkelson turned into Euron is exceptionally well done and deserves a place in the fan art gallery! (I posted it in the speculation thread since we're still waiting on casting news!)  |

I don't really care what actor ends up playing Euron, but as long as he looks something like this, I'm happy ...    Preach! I was never a Euron fan until I saw his fan art and I realised that he didn't look like Mad-Eye Moody and was actually quite a spectacular specimen  |

Not Fan Art (I didn't want to start a new thread). Had not seen this before. In Hi Res it is quite impressive! Some of it looks photo composite , some of it is obviously , most seems rendered by hand. The action compositions are almost startling. I had no idea the show used 'set piece' concept art , it's more of a movie production design thing. They now have the money to do this more extensively, like to see this collected into a book. Concept ArtI was going to start a thread about the HBO concept art done by Karakter studio for them too - there's nowhere to post about it as it's not fan art, it's official! They've flown under the fan radar for a long time and not really gotten the recognition their art deserves. Honestly they should be allowed to package that stuff up and sell it as framed works. Along with the Beautiful Death art, they could be amazing show merch! This one's particularly mesmerizing to me. It's so real looking I wish I could go to Braavos as a tourist. I'd buy some of Arya's shellfish and stroll along the waterfront admiring all the things to buy!  **Be sure to go to their website and see these in full HD resolution, they are amazing up close. ![]() |
