Anyone put forward this?
Season 4 George realizes that Winds of Winter will be 'trumped' by GoT season 6.
George says to the show runners: "I would be eternally grateful if you guys just made up a lot of weird stuff for season 5, whole bunch of fake spoilers. Then not much of Winds of Winter will be ruined by the show."
Don't know how readers would respond to bait and switch?

I'd love this but not true.
