Wait. So "valahd" is actually just a product of Emilia fucking up and saying "fly" in English instead of Valyrian How in god's name did that take end up getting used?

In the article David Peterson does say he changed his mind about her saying 'fly' tho she may have said 'fly' during filming but in the ADR says something else. Then he has the story for Valahd. I like “Touch the horizon!” , poetic.

I just rewatched it and she does not say "fly". I just skimmed the article, so if I'm wrong here someone please correct me, but I understood it was written in the script as the HV word for "fly", but for some reason the take they ended up using had Emilia saying it in English, but they couldn't fix it with ADR so instead they just changed it to the Dothraki word "valahd" since the lip movements were much more similar.
