Rewatching this makes me want to give it an 8 instead, but I suppose I'm just still grieving so I won't go that far (yet)

At least we know about Urine Euron attacking the Reach, hopefully Roose flaying Ramsay and CLEGANEBOWL.

I am late to the party. Had a dance recital Sunday night and my on demand was not working on Monday, so I finally got to watch last night. I rated it a 4. Not one of my favorite episodes. I think it highlighted many of the problems I found with season 5 (I'll save my thoughts for the season 5 thread on the season as a whole). PROS: Lena Headley's performance. A total home run. Probably some of the best acting I've seen on the show since Michelle Fairley and Richard Madden in the Rains of Castamere. While Cersei's walk was hard to watch and felt long, I believe it was supposed to make you feel uncomfortable and squeamish. The show achieved that feeling well. The House of Black and White, probably may favorite plot this season. Nice performance for Nikolaj Coster Waldau, who had nothing worth his talent this season. Nice performance from both Carice Van Houten and Liam Cunningham when Melisandre wordlessly informs Davos of Stannis and Shireen's fate. Stephen Dillane gave a good performance as well, especially in the scene when Selyse was found & his final scene with Brienne. Nice to have a quiet scene with Jon and Sam For the Watch was okay, I find it hard to believe that Jon wasn't dead before Olly stabbed him, but whatever. Theon killing Myranda. CONS: Myrcella we hardly knew ye. I am pretty sure Aimee Richardson doesn't feel too bad about not coming back now. Her quick acceptance of Jaime as her father was odd. Battle for Winterfell was underwhelming to say the least. No onscreen death for Stannis Roose and Ramsey are still alive Glad (not) Sansa suffered so Theon could remember who he was. Brienne's storyline. Dany dropping the ring so the Hardy Boys could find her. Varys basically popping up at the right time to remind Tyrion and the audience how wonderful Tyrion is.
